- Bruce Shelly is a writer who wrote two episodes of the 1975 Return to the Planet of the Apes cartoon series - "Terror on Ice Mountain" and "Battle of the Titans". He had previously written for Get Smart, Here's Lucy, Hanna-Barbera's Love, American Style, M*A*S*H, Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, Happy Days and The Six Million Dollar Man. After Return to the Planet of the Apes, Shelly's prolific writing career included episodes of The Rookies, The Bionic Woman, The Love Boat, Wonder Woman, Eight Is Enough (writer and executive story editor), CHiPs, Dallas, Fame, Fantasy Island (starring Ricardo Montalban), T.J.
