Like most Victory-class Star Destroyers, the Guardian was originally built in the waning days of the Galactic Republic to help in the Clone Wars before it became part of the newly formed Empire. It would remain in service to the galactic government until it was sold in a deal with the Corporate Sector Authority as part of their purchase of 250 Victory Mark I's. It served with the CSA fleet for a number of years, and even went through an upgrade into a Victory Mark II, until Sulimurr was able to buy it through her contacts within the organization.

| - Like most Victory-class Star Destroyers, the Guardian was originally built in the waning days of the Galactic Republic to help in the Clone Wars before it became part of the newly formed Empire. The Guardian is considered the flagship for the Sovereignty of Juoi and is usually a highly visual sign to potential troublemakers that Juoi is not a planet to be messed with lightly. This was proven quite effectively by the Guardian and her support ships during the Battle of Juoi. So far, the Guardian has only left Juoi's orbit twice since being bought. The ship was sent to visit Onderon to show support for the Jedi Order's new temple, Juoi's native Jedi Master Kalja Sairu Leidias, and to drop off supplies. The second time was during the Nexus at Nexus, where it transported Kalja so she could help hammer our a truce between the Empire and the Jedi Order. Juoi’s flagship remains ever-ready to defend the planet and fulfill its name to the letter.
