Castillian is a mysterious mage of the Argent Dawn. He never spoke, wore a mask to conceal his identity, and was among those who chose to accompany Darion Mograine into Naxxramas to rescue his father, Alexandros Mograine. Darion was somewhat suspicious of him, as was Grunn'Holde — who claimed some thought him to be a Forsaken spy. Though he did nothing to confirm their suspicions in Naxxramas, he did little to allay them either. After being hit in the head by Thane Korth'azz, Castillian was believed dead.

| - The undead mage never spoke and his face was always concealed with a mask. He was one of the members of the Argent Dawn to help Darion Mograine assault Naxxramas. Darion was however suspicious of Castillian, even some of Darion's comrades in his journey claimed that Castillian was a spy. They didn't have any evidence to support their suspicions so they continued their journey. During the assault, Castillian was believed to be dead. Weeks passed and it was revealed that Castillian survived the battle and delivers spores of the Forsaken plague to his true master Varimathras who is secretly still loyal to the Burning Legion, confirming that Castillian was indeed a spy of the Legion sent to infilitrate the Argent Dawn. His fate remains unknown after he delivers the spores that finalized the plague.

In a secret meeting in the Tirisfal Glades he delivered a vial of plague based spores to his real master, the Dreadlord Varimathras. These spores became a prime ingredient for the ultimate plague later created by Grand Apothecary Putress.
