This event was done at the same time as the Halloween Event. Early in October 2008, the NPC Snadien Jaminson appears, offering everyone an optimistic product. He claims he can cure the food shortage in Sorven with a series of serums named 'High Calorie Food Replacements' (HCFR). The descriptions of each HCFR potions all make different claims but Snadien says that, with these, nobody will ever have to go hungry again. He claims they require the light of the Full Moon to activate. Bill Shuman and others support him but as the night of the full moon (the 15th of October) comes around, nothing happens.

Dr. Emilia Astrovitch appears, making big accusations about Snadien and the HCFR serums. She claims that they aren't here to help anyone and that they're Bio-chemical Weapons. She presents an animal she claims to have tested it on and the animal appears zombie-like. Snadien claims he never tested it on animals as it was never made for them therefore its effects on animals are unconsequential. He tested the HCFR on himself and has not eaten in over a year. Obviously he is okay so the serum works. Emilia continues to make accusations and pleads with Solians not to take the serum while Snadien continues to insist it's safe. Many NPCs can be seen trusting Snadien and taking the serum and nothing seems to be doing any harm. Bill mutates suddenly on October 31st. Soon after, other NPCs and any members who have used a HCFR in the past month mutate as well. Snadien flees, leaving Emilia to gloat and make further accusations in his absence.
