Christopher Paul LiPuma (born March 23, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois) is a former professional ice hockey defenseman. He played 72 games in the National Hockey League: 64 with the Tampa Bay Lightning and eight with the San Jose Sharks. He played junior hockey with the Kitchener Rangers from 1988 to 1992. Undrafted by any NHL club, he was signed as a free agent by the expansion Tampa Bay Lightning in 1992. LiPuma was only a part-time player for Tampa Bay, playing 43 games in 3 seasons. LiPuma then signed with the San Jose Sharks in 1996 but only saw action in eight games with the NHL team.
