After his athletics career Druyts remained committed to the sport, he was noted Vice-President of the Royal Belgian Boxing Association and the Provincial Sports Council Antwerp. He was also one of the initiators of the Antwerp Ten Miles . He was also honorary president of Panathlon . [1] Willy Druyts years was also a member of the Sports Council Geel. He died from the effects of cancer. Druyts is the father of singer Natalia .
