The Scratch Card is a lottery ticket mini-game in FarmVille released on March 13th, 2012. In this game, the farmer scratches off all nine squares on a card trying to find three that match. If the farmer finds three matching squares they win the prize indicated. Farmers receive their first card for free but must pay to play additional cards. From time to time FarmVille gave free scratches, although much rarer then for Mystery Game and Pig-O Game.

- Each scratch card is different by exactly how the card must be scratched to win. Some cards require the player to uncover and match certain patterns, while others have the player clear a path to a goal. If the scratch card is won, the player will be awarded the ability to activate an ability to use for their characters that they normally cannot use. This ability differs depending on the card and can be activated at any time. For example, a winning "Scratch the Square Series" (one of the most common cards) makes it available for everyone to double jump (usually, it is only available for Selkies). The different series of scratch cards are as follows: 21 Series, Number Series, Cave Capers Series, Magic Stack Series, Cats Series, Follow the Trail Series, Building Block Series, Chocobo Series, Scratch the Square Series, Clavat Series, Yuke Series, Selkie Series, Lilty Series, Moogle Series, and Pedestal Series. If the player collects all of the scratch cards, they can obtain the Mercenary Amenhart.
