Caina is a location in Persona 3 FES. It is the third door in the Abyss of Time. Caina is divided into three areas. The first section of Caina appears identical to the Yabbashah Block of Tartarus. The second section takes on the appearance of the first section of Malebolge. The final section appears the same as the initial area of Cocytus. On the 20th floor, there is a door into Akihiko Sanada's past.

- Caina is a square building raised three steps, with a cylindrical tower occupying each corner. Albeit smaller than Judecca, Caina is a large structure, and is located at a point of the river Cocytus where the ice shrinks, in a way to make passage through it and the next spheres necessary to reach Judecca and the Wailing Wall. On each wall is a large passageway, and smaller openings on each tower. Five statues representing wyverns dot the roof of the structure, one in each tower and one (larger and more detailed than the four surrounding it) in the central dome of Caina, facing the main entrance.
- The archdevil Mephistopheles rules his layer of Caina (pronounced CANE-uh), an unending expanse of hanging cages, narrow stone platforms, and iron bridges.
- One of Odessa's sources of monsters, and manipulator of Randolf the Magic Key, a large magical key that has the power to open portals to other dimensions, summon demons and cast spells. He is responsible for the Demon Summoning at the start of the game. A true sympathizer with Vinsfeld Rhadamanthus's ideals, he follows the Odessa leader almost blindly.

| - One of Odessa's sources of monsters, and manipulator of Randolf the Magic Key, a large magical key that has the power to open portals to other dimensions, summon demons and cast spells. He is responsible for the Demon Summoning at the start of the game. A true sympathizer with Vinsfeld Rhadamanthus's ideals, he follows the Odessa leader almost blindly. Caina had fallen in love with Vinsfeld, something that tormented him when Vinsfeld perished, eventually driving him to exact an equal torment on Ashley Winchester. Aside from his activities within Cocytus, little else is known about Caina. He is the only member of the Cocytus to survive beyond his tower and into the second disc. Originally thought dead as when he was defeated in his tower, he invoked Randolph to heal him, but the key opened a dimensional rift, pulling Caina in as he screamed.
