| - Rovers' ended their 2012–13 season with a 3–3 draw against Torquay United. Torquay, whose starting eleven included former Pirates Michael Poke and Aaron Downes, went into the game as one of seven teams that could be relegated from League Two, but a strong performance in an entertaining game saw them avoid the drop. After taking the lead in the first half through Tom Hitchcock, Rovers were given the opportunity to double their lead shortly after the break when Brian Saah fouled Ryan Brunt in the box, leading to a penalty for The Gas. Former Rovers man Poke save Lee Brown's penalty however, and just four minutes later Torquay equalised through Elliot Benyon. An own goal by Ryan Jarvis on the 55-minute mark put Rovers back in the lead, but he made amends seven minutes later by scoring at the right end. A second goal from Benyon looked to have secured all three points for Torquay, but substitute Matt Harrold, playing in his first game after seven months on the sidelines through injury, snatched an injury time equaliser and sparked wild celebrations amongst the Pirates' players and supporters.
