Despite not posing as a villain in these games, Leatherhead nevertheless appears as a boss character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus. He is fought in the sewer tunnels, swimming rapidly and using tremors and pugilistic strikes to damage the Turtles. Like the TV series, the brawl takes place because of a misunderstanding, and the Turtles later befriend him. Leatherhead does appear in the DS version of the game as a boss fight and in a level or two where he teams up with the TMNT.

abstract
  • Despite not posing as a villain in these games, Leatherhead nevertheless appears as a boss character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus. He is fought in the sewer tunnels, swimming rapidly and using tremors and pugilistic strikes to damage the Turtles. Like the TV series, the brawl takes place because of a misunderstanding, and the Turtles later befriend him. In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare, Leatherhead is shown in the background in a cutscene near the end of Episode 1. There is no reason given why he is there in space with the Turtles, Casey, and April, as he was not shown to have accompanied them to space. However, this is because the scene was taken directly from the cartoon, where he was with them for some time. Leatherhead does appear in the DS version of the game as a boss fight and in a level or two where he teams up with the TMNT.
