Clawdio was a sabre-toothed cat who was taken from Earth by the Battalasks, aliens that planned to change him and other kidnapped sabre-tooths into mindless monsters. With the aid of Alson and the other Jurassic Explorers, however, Clawdio and his pack escaped, staying on the Lightning Bolt. The Explorers eventually died, leaving the cats alone under the leadership of Fangal. When Teggs, Gipsy, Iggy and Sprite came to investigate the ancient spaceship, Fangal, Kerr, and Clawdio attempted to chase the astrosaurs away to protect their pack. Later, when the two groups joined forces, Clawdio helped them fight Major Terrorkon and his crew. He later left the Jurassic Quadrant with his pack, Wettus, and the other vegetarian dryptosaurus.
