The Nova Wolves were a small group of pirates originating from the planet Jung in the Outer Rim. Originally ‘independent’ vessels within the Jungian Defense Fleet, the Wolves were formed when Xitan Lucha, having assumed command of the Meridian from his brother, formed an alliance with the captains of fellow JDF ships Hundred Flames and Scorekeeper. Lucha has since shaped the Wolves into a highly motivated and disciplined force, earning both respect and fear for their criminal acts and the skills they display in carrying them out. [Source]

  • The Nova Wolves Chapter was formed in the 26th Founding, 739.M41, with the purpose of defending the Imperium from the Threats of Xenos and Heretics alike. It is unknown from whom they first drew Gene-Seed from. They had their Fortress-Monastery based upon the Planet of Nexus Prime, a frozen Death World stuck in an eternal Ice Age with a small populace under constant threat from the Indigenous Wildlife that roam the planet, and those that survived until adolescence would become prime recruitment material for the Chapter.

The other Planets in the Sub-Sector also had ties with the Nova Wolves; Nexus Minor, a Forge World under threat from Pirates and War-bands. They would supply the Nova Wolves with Weapons, Armour, Vehicles, and Ships in exchange for protection. Helios, a nearby Agri-World that helps produce Regiments of PDF troopers ready and willing to help defend the Sub-Sector; and finally, Gorgon. This desolate moon orbiting Nexus Prime would become a Mining Source for the Mechanicus. It would also serve as a training ground for the Nova Wolves and PDF in the event they need to fight in Zero-G Environments.
