| - Simisear was a Pokemon that tended to bully other Pokemon in Santalune Forest. He tended to pick on smaller Pokemon due to his weak stature, and whenever a Pokemon was stronger than he was, he would have his stronger partner, Pangoro, beat them up, which he had done to Dynamo's Chespin before the beginning of the story. Dynamo first met Chespin after he found him in the forest and gained a close bond to him. While walking in Santalune Forest, they were ambushed by Simisear. Chespin, noticing that Pangoro was nowhere to be found, wanted to fight Simisear for revenge. Dynamo started the battle, commanding Chespin to use Vine Whip and then Tackle, easily defeating Simisear. When returning to Santalune Forest, Dynamo ran into Simisear again, even angrier than before. Dynamo sent Chespin out for battle, while Simisear commanded two of his henchmen, two Pansear, to attack Chespin, both of which were easily defeated. Simisear then howled to call his friend Pangoro to attack Chespin once again. Frozen in fear, Chespin couldn't battle. Before Pangoro could do any harm, a mysterious girl, Dubonnet, sent her Torchic and Audino to fight Pangoro. Torchic used Ember to distract Pangoro, while Audino used Dazzling Gleam, instantly defeating Pangoro, in which the Pokemon fell on top of Simisear. Neither Simisear nor Pangoro has been seen since. Despite being a fire type, Simisear did not appear to know any fire type moves.
