Other vehicles, such as trains and aircraft, are required to have headlamps. Small Headlamps are often used on bicycles, and are required by law in some jurisdictions. They can be powered by a battery or a miniature generator (dymamo). Additionally automotive night vision systems may improve viewability without requiring brighter headlamps.
