Why does the toxic assault still continue in devleoped countries like USA? Because the evidence is routinely obscured by controversy deliberately generated by the companies that profit, abetted by government collusion, scientists-for-hire, lobbyists, lawyers and cynical public relations. Most of the Toxins we ingest through food and water are known as excitotoxin, which overexcites brain cells, killing them. Thus they permanently effects the brain's ability to think.
