"Hello Dapplekit." Shadebird, Dapplekit's mother had a tang of surprise in her meow. "I'm sleepy," Dapplekit yawned and curled up against her mother for a nap.

She awoke to Shadebird's harsh meow "Splotchkit and Moonkit, if you do that one more time, you will stay in your dens for a moon!" "But..but"they squeaked. "No" Shadebird's meow was firm. Shadebird sighed, and stalked out of the nursery. "What did you do?!" Dapplekit's voice was shocked. She had never seen her mother this mad."So, we went all Lionclan, and snuck into the warriors den, then we made dirt in their nests. "And, and then we went into the medicine cat den, stole some yarrow and fed it to the elders!" Splotchkit and Moonkit were beaming with pride. "Don't you notice that what you did was dangerous?"Dapplekit challenged them. " Ya, that's the point mousebrain." Dapplekit sighed, they had no idea of how dangerous that was. Dapplekit bounced with joy once Lavenderwish's kits were born. "Hey Mom, When will I be able to play with Flykit and Chirpkit?" "Soon precious, soon" Dapplekit smiled and drifted to sleep. one moon later* "Chripkit, What do you want to play?" Daplekit asked. "I dunno" Replied Chirpkit. "How about we play outside, it's a nice day" Flykit piped up. "Let's go!" Squeaked Moonkit. Splotchkit stayed at the back, with his chest puffed out. The kits padded out of the nursery and play-fighted in the dust. Flykit pinned
