The 2002 Coca-Cola Racing Family 600 was a Winston Cup (now Nextel Cup) event held at Lowe's Motor Speedway on May 26, 2002. Jimmie Johnson dominated much of the race, but on the final pit stop issues ended his hopes and he finished 7th. Instead, Mark Martin grabbed his first victory since March 2000, holding off teammate Matt Kenseth after a thrilling thirty-lap duel. Sterling Marlin finished 11th to maintain an 87-point championship lead on Kenseth. Stats
