Chase's parents died in a car accident when he was very young and he and his older sister Desiree were raised by their grandparents. He grew up much like any child his age, exploring the outdoors with his partner in crime, Daniel Stark. When the two grew older and into the teenage years, the crime turned more real, and the pair tended to get into more trouble than not. When High School was over, Daniel took off for the Marine Corp, leaving Chase behind in Benson. With nothing else to do, Chase loaded up a duffel bag and hopped on his motorcycle, taking off down the road and hardly looking back.

  • Chase's parents died in a car accident when he was very young and he and his older sister Desiree were raised by their grandparents. He went from city to city, aimlessly looking for the next adventure and the next cheap thrill. Occasionally he'd call home, mostly on holidays or birthdays. He'd been in Tulsa when he received the news. There'd been an accident. His Grandparents and his sister Desiree were dead, Desi's nine year old daughter Lainey was the only survivor. Lainey was in bad shape at the county hospital. He'd broken every single traffic law in the book as he'd raced back home to Benson. But he'd managed to make it to the hospital in time to be there in the room when little Lainey woke up. Now, four years later Chase is a deputy in the Idaho State Patrol, and Lainey is 13. They live in Chase's grandparents old house, and while it'd been rough for awhile, with help from the community and the grace of god, things were slowly starting to iron themselves out.
