World War III (shortened as WWIII or WW3), also known as the Third World War or the Unification War, was a global conflict, lasting from 2031 to 2032. Although the war itself was relatively short compared to its predecessors, it claimed more lives that WWI and WWII combined. Even so, the Contact War remains the deadliest conflict in the history of mankind. The third global conflict is regarded as the last conflict between different human factions, which served as the final unification motive of mankind.
