- Drugs A drug is a plant or a chemical which alters the way how the body or mind works. Some drugs are habit-forming so that a person reaches a stage, when he cannot do without them. They feel ill, when they aren't able to get drugs. When you are addicted, the drug could influence your daily life. That means, your whole day turns around the drug and everything else doesn't matter any more, except how you can get your daily dose, because your body and mind demand the drug.
