The term Anti-Toa refers to former Toa that have lost sight of the 3 virtues and have departed from the path they were once on. Anti-Toa have many reasons for changing their ways. Perhaps they believe they are stronger than the rest of the group in a selfish way as to try and make it alone. This usually results in defeat but the stubbornness of the individual makes them strive for more power as to not be beaten again. This power hungry cycle of constant defeats and anger induced moments leads to the corruption of a Toa's mind. Anti-Toa don't work in teams anymore, even with other Anti-Toa. It's a key difference between them and normal Toa's who rely on teamwork and each other during battles. Anti-Toa take on a more bounty hunter styled lifestyle in which being a murderer and a thief take over from showing heroism and good deeds. This lifestyle can take a number of effects ona Toa's mentality. More often that not, an Anti-Toa will retain full knowledge of their past and still be an effective and intelligent fighter. Others may take the new lifestyle too far and without social interactions to balance them, plus constant robbery and murder to survive, an Anti-Toa may become a primal shadow of their once former self. More akin to savage rahi than the Toa they once were. Anti-Toa's don't always turn to simple pillaging and robberies to survive, they have options to join forces with groups such as the Dark Hunters to better their skills as lone survivors. If they prove themselves worthy, they may even be contacted by the Brotherhood of Makuta, however this is in extremely rare instances. An Anti-Toa's lifestyle is still full of adventure and acts which involve fighting for their lives but the end result is that they don't do it to save others but rather to better themselves be it in worth or status.
