- The ability will allow John and Taylor to be immune to fire. They will never be burned or harmed by either natural fire or fire produced by an ability. They will also display a high tolerance towards high temperatures, but could prove more susceptible to coldness, in turn. With this ability, John and Taylor will also not feel anything when touched by fire, and as such will prove immune to abilities like pyrokinesis and fire balls if these abilities are used against them.
- When a unit with Fire Immunity is struck by Fire Damage or Immolation Damage from any source, its Defense score is temporarily raised to File:Icon Defense.png for purposes of blocking this damage. This means that it is exceptionally difficult (though still possible) to inflict Fire Damage or Immolation Damage on this unit. Fire Immunity is a rather rare immunity, possessed only by 3 different Fantastic Units - all from the File:Icon Chaos.png realm. It is not possible to add Fire Immunity to a unit that does not already have it.
- Fire immunity is the rare ability in some people to resist the effects of fire. Many traditional societies practise firewalking on certain occasions; fire immunity other kinds seems to be a feat peculiar to certain individuals. One such person was the Maryland blacksmith Nathan Coker. a report of him placing his feet on red-hot shovel "until the sovel became black" was accepted as true by several researchers; Coker also swilled molten lead in his mouth and held glowing coals and a red-hot poker in his hands.
- A creature with fire immunity never takes fire damage. It has vulnerability to cold, which means it takes half again as much (+50%) damage as normal from cold, regardless of whether a saving throw is allowed, or if the save is a success or failure.
