Throne of Darkness provides examples of the following YMMV tropes: * Game Breaker: A wizard with one of the 'Kanji' spells and high Ki-leech, can wipe out an entire army single-handed, by casting destructive spells without worrying of ever running out of Ki. * It Gets Worse. If you're playing as the Oda clan you can complete an optional Sidequest that rewards you with the unique Kagetora's Armor. With careful use of components and a mere 100.000+ gold, you can give the Wizard armor that doubles his Ki and gives 100% Ki-leach. With that you can cast a Kanji spell that takes a mere fraction of your magic reserves, and immediately restores half of it as it hits every enemy on screen, For Massive Damage. For even more brokenness, cast the Ki Shield spell so that incoming damage hits Ki rather than Health, even if you have no Ki left. Watch in awe as your invincible Wizard drinks a Ki potion and starts blasting away again. You can, if you're so inclined, also duplicate items using an exploit, and give your entire team Kagetora's Armor, which are exactly as good for them as the one above is for the Wizard.
