Unless the Decepticons cause trouble, we have no reason to get involved with them. "After all, the Brandaxians called in the different groups involved in the war. Lets continue on our way to Brandax."Shockwave pilots the Conquest out of hyperspace near Brandax. The huge vessel is not doing anything to hide itself, so anyone can probably see it. Gargoyle, by the fact I've decided right now, is the one who was ordered to monitor the sensor grid. Skydive nods and replies, "Affirmative. I am taking us into orbit."Cybertiger is laying in the corner picking out autobot gumby armor out of his teeth with his claws.Gargoyle is sitting at the sensor grid, looking a little bit under the weather, but he pays attention to the screen dutifully, hunched over it. THen he breaks out "Shuttle... Autobot... detected.."Shockwave nods to Gargoyle and asks calmly, "Are any of their weapons charged? What is the status of their defensive systems?" Meanwhile, the Conquest continues towards the planet, and towards the Rusty as well.Gargoyle uhhhhs and looks...Gargoyle uhhhhs "W... WEapons... offffffffffffffffffffffffffline... " he begins.Gargoyle then says more assuredly "S... so is D-d-d-d-ddefensive systems."Shockwave glances towards Gargoyle and then back at the screens, not wanting to wait the million years it'll take for Gargoyle to finish saying 'offline'. The conquest dives down into the atmosphere in a controlled descent. The armour turns red from the heat of re-entry. Finally Gargoyle finishes just as the Conquest vanishes beneath the cloud cover.Shockwave looks at the viewscreen. BrandaxThe Brandaxians are a very industrial people. Although their research methods and equipment are not highly advanced compared to others in the galaxy, they are good enough that combined with their hard working attitude they are able to keep a comfortable place in the galactic economy. Most of their trade consists of selling raw materials. This particular site is headquarters for the Brandaxian version of the United Nations. It consists of a multiple of huge buildings that are readily equiped to allow aliens of all sorts and sizes to be comfortable in, as well as a huge spaceport landing strip. Although the strip is never used by the Brandaxians (who do not possess inter-galactic spaceflight technology), it is useful for galactic visitors. The place is well stocked with guards, all of whom possess primitive but effective ballistic rifles. Contents: Interstellar Shuttle Militant Dropship Galactic Court UN Space Shuttle The Conquest travels onward to Brandax. Skydive unbuckles his seat belt and stands to take a stretch.... Hot Spot looks at the viewscreen.Gargoyle lowers his head, shutting up now as he's embarassed himself enough. Skydive looks at the viewscreen. Afterburner taps his feet on the metallic floor paneling, while his shielded gaze glances to the orange rifle in his hand. Yet, he doesn't move to unload the cartridge. The Conquest appears as a dot in the sky, but it grows fast. The awe inspiring ship takes up a huge amount of room on the landing strip. Shockwave sets the shuttle down away from both the Rusty and the Wormwood. With a loud 'hisssss', the ship powers down. Ultra Magnus nods his head. "Good. Lets get us down then." the Sub-Commander states. Like Hot Spot, he felt kind of naked here in space without weapons active and any defenses. But the Brandax people had stated that everyone was supposed to come under a flag of peace, and Magnus didn't want to give them any reason to think differently. "The sooner we get this done with and resolved, the better." Ultra Magnus looks at the viewscreen.Cybertiger spits out his piece of gumby armor and stretches his joints. "I take it we are there ?"Shockwave nods and stands up, stating calmly to Rampage, "Your hypothesis is correct. We have arrived at Brandax. You all know what your tasks are. This should be a simple matter to implicate the Militants in the crime. The Autobots, however, may wish to find 'the truth', however there is a possibility that they will be willing to assume the first about the Militants." He points to the both of them and utters something that demonstrates what Shockwave thinks of his lackies, "Do not create an intergalactic incident." The very fact that he even has to order that...Gargoyle undoes his seatbelt and stands, nodding quietly. He was once again composed and calmAssume the worst. Not assume the first. The Rusty rumbles through the sky and begins its power down sequence as well. The diference is that this shuttle rumbles and creaks and bangs against itself. And painfully, it seems, the shuttle lets out a sigh and powers down. The ramp on the Conquest lowers, allowing people to get the Hell off if they so wish to. Ultra Magnus looks at the viewscreen.Cybertiger nods and heads for the door mumbling something "I'm walking on sunshine whooooohoooohoooo I'm walking on sunshine whooooohooooohooooo..." Skydive opens the door on the Rusty and it swings open in protest.....the ramp falls out.Gargoyle eyes Rampage, then back to Shockwave pleadingly ..oO(PLEASE! I need a new rug!)) Ultra Magnus looks at the viewscreen. Valkyrie VF-1S [Jetfire] rockets in everything under surveillance. Trailbreaker gets up from his seat, pausing to brush himself off. The seat was dusty but hey this wasn't supposed to be a trip of comfort or anything so he didn't care. He doesn't like going to a meeting were militants and Decepticons who doesn't have the same wiew of 'peaceful' approach will be present, but he hasn't uttered a word about it. He knows his duties and will do all he can to protect the others with his forcefield if need be. ooO(I just hope the bad boys will keep on the rug for once in their stinkin existance)Shockwave steps towards the entry way, ignoring Rampage's mumblings. It seems harmless enough, and it won't help the Decepticon case of being 'innocent' if he controls each and every thing his warriors do. Now out in the Brandax atmosphere, he takes a look around. Spying the Rusty, he pauses for a moment. "Interesting." he says quietly enough to himself and his allies, "If this is the best that the Autobots have in the way of space-support..." Already a plan/TP is forming.Shockwave disembarks from the Conquest. You disembark from the Conquest for the Rainbow Climbs...BrandaxThe Brandaxians are a very industrial people. Ultra Magnus stands up from his chair. He starts heading towards the landing ramp. "Remember why we are here. This is a diplomatic mission. We don't want to put Earth in danger any more than it already is. So keep your tempers under control, and your optics very open." He frowns for a long moment. "Hopefully, things will go smoothly," the large Autobot states. Not that he believed that would be the case, things never seemed to go smoothly. Hot Spot gets up as the chair creaks and groans. He looks at the chair and says, "At least it held together." He always looks on the bright side of things and says, "Ok, we shouldn't let this rust heap get us down. We are autobots, we are better than that." The protectobot leader gives a slight smile under his mask and steps in line with Magnus.Ultra Magnus disembarks from the Rusty.Ultra Magnus has arrived.Hot Spot disembarks from the Rusty.Hot Spot has arrived.Cybertiger looks around at his surroundings "This place is ugly and probably boring too. Hope this intergalactic court thingie is more interesting than that last thingy on what's the name of the place ?"Arcee disembarks from the Rusty.Arcee has arrived.Arcee walks into the room. Trailbreaker emits a faint chuckle and follows.Trailbreaker disembarks from the Rusty.Trailbreaker has arrived.Trailbreaker strides forward, peering about.Shockwave spies Rampage for a while. He performs approximately five billion calculations to try and narrow down what 'thingy' on 'that name of the place', however when the point zero zero one second it took is over, he still has no clue what the Predacon is refering to.Terran Standard Troops #5865 disembarks from the ambassador.Terran Standard Troops #5865 has arrived.Spike disembarks from the ambassador.Spike has arrived.Gargoyle stops behind the others, eyeing the Autobots before going onto the other shuttles. As more people emerge, he blurts "Sir... remain behind... guard shuttle?" he offers hopefullyArmed Guards stand at the ready, nasty looking ballistic rifles drawn but not pointing at anyone. It's likely that it wouldn't be too effective against a Transformer or armoured Militants, however. There's approximately fifty of them standing at the side in two columns, creating a path towards the court-house. Behind the walls of guards is a crowd of native Brandaxians, who stare in awe and anger at these that might be responsible for the deaths of many of their kin."Let us hope that everyone else remembers those words, Magnus." Arcee utters quietly, as she too heads down the ramp from Ol' Rusty and towards the much more stable ground below. Her optics give those disembarking fromt he Autobot shuttle a quick glance to see if there were any mild injuries. Or possibly to see who isn't brushing off dust. Those seats will be prized on the ride home.Shockwave states, "No."MeanieSpike steps off of the Ambassador near the center of the landing strip. He is flanked by a small detachment of United Nations security personnel all wearing bulky exo-suits. Skydive does one final check of the systems then follows everyone else.Skydive disembarks from the Rusty.Skydive has arrived.Skydive walks into the room, paying attention to every detail.Gargoyle grits his teeth and nods wordlessly, focused on Rampage's aft to avoid meeting anyone elses' optics.Hot Spot glances behind him at the ol' rusty and mumbles, "Really gotta get Aid to help out on this." He files it away in the back of his mind before softening his face at the look of all the natives looking very upset at them. The protectobot sighs gently, "Prime said we'd have days like this."Skydive takes a step outside of the shuttle and is immediately hypnotized by all of the other flying craft around..he takes a moment to examine them.Gargoyle also don't like the fact that there wer only three Decepticons here. True, one is Shockwave, but still...Afterburner disembarks from the Rusty.Afterburner has arrived.Trailbreaker takes in the scenery with a mix of genuine interest and vigilance. oo(I hope the Brandaxians eventually will realise we're not the bad guys in this little drama)"Aye, he did.."Ultra Magnus nods his head at Arcee. His expression continues to be serious, although his face softens up some as he notes the arrival of the Terran delegation. "The human sent Spike," he comments, tilting his head towards Arcee and pointing Daniel's father to her. "Now to see what they want with all of us here," the large Autobot indicates. He also notices the armed guards forming the path towards the courthouse. "I guess, our destination is somewhat obvious."Chikome-Ollin disembarks from the Wormwood.Chikome-Ollin has arrived.Presidential Guard disembarks from the Wormwood.Presidential Guard has arrived.A single figure approaches the three shuttles, walking between the wide column of guards. It's clearly an alien other than Cybertronian or Brandaxian. The individual is propelled by six insect like legs as he skitters towards the Rusty, Ambassador and Conquest. Spying the three groups with suspicious bug-like-eyes, he raises two mandibles and says, "Welcome to the planet Brandax. Please leave all weapons out of the courtroom." He spies these with guns attached to their body, "Or at the very least, deactivate them."Gargoyle frowns at that, hearing the command, and he quietly disables all his electric weapons he could. All the others were in subspace, and he reluctantly disables that too.Arcee first glances at the crowd that has gathered, and then towards the being that approaches them with instructions before they head towards the courthouse. Giving a quick nod of her head, she disables all of her built-in weaponry. She is still however, visibly protective of the rest of the 'bots that are there. Choosing to stand towards the back of their contingent and keep an eye on things rather then move towards the front. One could assume that she does this out of habit.Spike glances back toward the leader of his guard unit and makes a single short hand motion. The leader nods and all of the guards power down their weapon systems with an audible whine, but keep them on their persons. Already at a significant disadvantage in firepower, the humans aren't about to give up their last bit of security too quickly. Spike himself turns back toward the insectoid. "I take it that your government is ready to begin the hearings without further delay?"Cybertiger safeties his 8 machine guns and hoping it will be enough for those sissies. The predacon eyes everyone who is present, recognizing a few, memorizing others.Shockwave nods to the individual and shuts down his weapon system. It's not like he'll be needing it here anyway. The cycloptic Decepticon tyrant glances at his two fellow Cons and nods to them. "Of course," he replies calmly.Skydive shakes his head and audibly goes, "Huh?" he looks around and notices the tension...why is there so much tension when there is such great technology around, "Oh Well" he says to himself and powers down all of his weapons also.Hot Spot reaches behind him and pulls out his fireball rifle about mid way on the rifle stock. He flicks the saftey on and tosses it down into a cleared out area for weapons. Hot Spot sighs but keeps quiet about giving up his weapon.Chikome-Ollin's departure from the Wormwood is heralded by the debarking of his Presidential Guard who ensure the area is secure before his descent. Once the all-clear is sent, Ollin makes his way out of the shuttle's crew compartment and onto the tarmac to join his Guard. With a visible snarl of contempt the General looks over the nearby terrain. Another detachment of Militants in power armor descend behind the President and take up positions around Mexico's soverign soil on the alien landscape.Ultra Magnus had already deactivated his own weapons, but he offers his fellow Autobots a glance, pretty much indicating for them to do the same if they haven't already. His optics pause on each Autobot and as that is done, his attention goes back to Spike. He nods in the human's direction in greeting, but for now decides not to exchange words. After all, they were all here in a formal capacity. His rifle he puts in the place where the non-attached weapons are being gathered. The large Autobot remains silent, for now.The insect's mouth forms a crude smile to Spike and he says, "I'm not here representing my government. I am here as a third party to oversee the proceedings." He tilts his head slightly and skitters back a bit, "The Brandaxians wished to have someone impartial for that. As well, I am here representing the galactic wishes. There are many races that are concerned about what happened here, you see. Everyone wishes to find out the truth..." he trails off a bit and looks towards Chikome-Ollin. Rubbing what passes for its chin, it states, "Ah... you must be President Ollin?" Not needing or waiting for an answer, he addresses everyone, "Now then... lets get things underway."Trailbreaker who has all his weapons attatched to his body can only switch the fistmounted barrel to a hand and deactivate the shouldermounted mini cannon in compliance. He shows no sign of aggression or anger, only curiosity and watchfullness.Gargoyle continues staring straight ahead, keeping himself so taught to avoid twitching that he would be a mannequin than a transformerChikome-Ollin issues silent orders to his Guard, who remain straight upon his heels. Offering only a brief nod to the insectoid creature in affirmation, the President and his entourage make a point to keep their distance from the Machines. Not out of any sort of fear, but the situation smells of shit already and the Militants have no intentions on stepping in it.Spike doesn't make eye contact with Magnus, but instead is now looking over at Chikome-Ollin in an attempt to gauge the reaction of the Mexican President to this strange creature. His own face is strangely impassive."Lets do that," Ultra Magnus finally says, and simply prepares to follow the alien overseeing the proceedings. His expression is kind of neutral, although hints of concern are there. He has no idea of what to expect in what is to follow. For now, there was nothing her could do but play along. The insectoid turns on its six heels and skitters towards the courthouse. The guards lining the path watch the Transformers, humans, and Militants with mild disgust. One of them shakes his head in wonder at Chickome. Another looks up and up at the huge Ultra Magnus and begins to get an idea of just how much of a token force they are. Shockwave, meanwhile, follows the insect.Trailbreaker says, "Showtime..here we go"Gargoyle follows behind Shockwave, neither looking left to right, legs moving stiffly.Cybertiger follows behind Shockwave looking left and right mumbling to himself.Rampage mutters to itself, "In... jungle... jungle the tiger hunts tonight."You mutter to yourself, "In the jungle the mighty jungle the tiger hunts tonight."Hot Spot moves along with the group clutching and unclutching his hand. With all these cons about it'd feel better to have a gun. He keeps his face forward though and his optics shining bright blue.Galactic Court grows ears and can now hear.Spike waits for a moment before beginning forward after the insectoid. His gaze is sharp and constantly moving, but other than that Witwicky is the picture of calmness.Valkyrie VF-1S [Jetfire] remains stationary on one of the many available landing pads inside the Brandax spaceport, having had arrived as a silent escort for the Ol' Rusty near the end of their journey to Brandax. The small panels of green lights located on his tri-barreled GU-11 gun pod beneath his belly and the quad mauser turrets located beneath his nosecone dims, indicating his compliance towards the wishes of the authorities on Brandax. The external camera on Jetfire rotates towards the direction Magnus is in before his mounted speakers emits, "Magnus, unless specified otherwise, I shall remain here on the landing pads where I will await for any further summons from the Autobots stationed on Cybertron or Earth wishing for transport to Brandax."Shockwave has left.Galactic CourtA huge building by Terran and Brandaxian standards, but clearly it was designed to be able to admit life forms from all corners of the galaxy. The doors are big enough for any Transformer smaller than Metroplex, and there's moving walkways for these that are so small that moving about this huge building would be a huge expedition. The actual courtroom itself is roundish with podiums located on the side. Much like the Senate in Star Wars. These who wish to speak do so from the podium in their section. The Overseer of the Court is in the middle and says who can speak and who isn't. Contents:ShockwaveGargoyle has arrived.Shockwave drops OOC: Meeting Rules.Arcee has arrived.Arcee walks into the room.Chikome-Ollin has arrived.Presidential Guard march behind Chikome-Ollin.Presidential Guard has arrived.Hot Spot has arrived.OOC: Meeting RulesThe rules are simple. Anyone who wishes to talk - and please, it shouldn't just be the facheads. Anyone is allowed to speak (and OOCly encouraged). Simply ICly press the button on the panel just to the right of your seat (OOCly page Shockwave), and wait for the speaker to call you. First come, first serve. If this sounds an awful lot like the OOC Meeting Rules... well it isn't a coincidence. Ultra Magnus pauses, and turns towards the parked Jetfire. "That sounds good to me, Jetfire," the Sub-Commander states, and then proceeds to continue on his way towards the court room. "May Primus be with us in this one," Magnus mutters to himself, his optics flickering for just a moment.Skydive has arrived.Skydive walks into the room, paying attention to every detail.Ultra Magnus has arrived.Trailbreaker has arrived.Trailbreaker strides forward, peering about.Spike orders Terran Standard Troops #5865 to follow him. The soldiers gather their gear and prepare to obey.Spike has arrived.Terran Standard Troops #5865 march behind Spike.Terran Standard Troops #5865 has arrived. From outside, Afterburner springs outward, appendages extending into robotic form.Cybertiger finds his way to his seat and goes into the laborious task of fitting his feline form inside the chair. "rrr..."The insectoid lets the moving walkway carry him to his position at the centre podium. He waits for everyone else to take their clearly marked locations. An insignia each faction adorns the podium where they're to sit. Once everyone is seated, the insect's tone suddenly shifts from friendly to not-so-friendly. "Now..." he snarls, "We are here to find out what exactly happened here. And... once we _have_ found out the truth..." he glares at each individual in turn, clacking his mandibles, "Then we shall decide what punishment will be issued to the guilty party. All shall have the right to speak. Lies will _not_ not tolerated here." His voice echoes throughout the room, creating a loud booming effect, "I and I alone shall decide what is and is not allowed." He pauses and looks upward slightly, "Are there any questions?" His tone suggests if there are, they had damn well better be good ones.Arcee has been silent for most of their little journey. In space, and on Brandex. And she remains so while they head towards the Court that will hold the trial. She finds her seat rather quickly - and settles in for what could be a very lengthy evening. Her optics are a rather intense hue while she pays very close attention to what is happening. She is afterall, quite concerned about Earth and it's inhabitants. It's equally as evident, that there are absolutely no questions from her.Hot Spot takes a seat in the autobot section and crosses his legs looking at the others in the room. He takes note of where the decepticons are and shivers a bit at the sound of the insectoid mediator.Gargoyle slows down a bit, looking at the podims and the speakers and stuff with obvious Dread as he nearly comes to a stop. Its literally one of his worst nightmares come true.Skydive also takes a seat in the designated section and thinks to himself, 'Fireflight would probably say that he is not very nice. I think I agree."Ultra Magnus had found his place to sit, just next to Arcee. As the insectoid speaks, the large Autobot frowns. He remains silent but he looks towards the pink femme for just a moment, exchanging a short glance with her. His expression becoming more neutral, Magnus then turns his head back towards the insectoid, absently rubbing his chin with one of his metallic hands. He doesn't have any questions, the insectoid seems to have done a very good job of stating the rules of the game.Chikome-Ollin pauses within the area marked for the Mexican delegation, attention turning towards his armored escort briefly while no words are exchanged verbally. After his bit has been said, Ollin kneels down next to his designated chair to give it brief inspection before seating himself.Trailbreaker moved over to an empty seat beside Hot Spot in the Autobot reserved section, in a rather dignified way. While eager to find out the truth about this, he can sit here all day and the next wait without complaining if he must.Cybertiger struggles not to slide out of his seat. Finally uses his claws to 'cling' to the chair. "That's better. I could teach them a thing or two about comfort."Hot Spot nods to TB and folds his arms while saying quietly to Trailbreaker, "I doubt we'll be found guilty for this. How would they prove it anyway?"Spike makes his way to the United Nations seats, taking his place without hesitation. His troops form up and move into place behind the Ambassador, flanking him on either side, but not blocking his view of the court at large. No orders are given, these men know what to do.The insect continues as nobody seems to have any questions, "Let me make one thing _very_ clear... on some of your home planets you have the right to be innocent until proven guilty. This is _not_ a trial, but an investigation. Even if it were you would not enjoy that right. Should I decide you are guilty, then you are guilty. Also know that any attempt to tamper with the proceedings of this investigation may be considered proof of your guilt." He rubs his front two legs together and says, "Now... before we get to the evidence against these present," he doesn't elaborate on who he means. The loud microphone-aided-echoing voice overshadows Rampage's comment about the chairs. "Do any of the factions wish to say any words on their own behalf?" From the tone of it, it sounds like an answer of 'yes' wouldn't be a bad thing at all.Gargoyle finally gets to their podium, but insted of sitting, he stands behind the other to in the At Ease position, where he's at least partially visually sheilded from eyes.Trailbreaker nods in agreement with the Protectobot. "Yes. If this is a just and professional court the Autobots would never be falsely accused of anything"would=willChikome-Ollin wastes no time and gives none of the other players in this little drama a chance to make their statements before he rises back to his feet. "Unjust and unfounded accusations have been leveled against myself and the people I represent. Considering the fact that Machines were called in to attendance at this location before any private inquiries or investigations over the incident took place, I have no reason to expect anything less than a kangaroo court here today. None the less I am here to extole my innocence and watch the mockery unfold."Shockwave states in a calm voice into the microphone at his podium, "The Decepticon Empire has sent us to Brandax to find out the truth of what occured. As a result we will cooperate fully with this investigation, as will my soldiers." Shockwave glances over towards Chikome-Ollin in an accusing manner, "It is not logical for us to wish more participants in the Cybertronian wars. Thus we wish to find the guilty party and exterminate them. Where the Militants appear to be mocking this investigation, the Empire is taking these charges against them seriously." He finishes off and returns to his seat.Spike pauses for a moment after Ollin and then stands up himself. "I represent the United Nations of Earth, and although we are not directly involved in these proceedings, we do have a stake in the outcome if retaliatory action is taken against our planet. I can only say that I am hoping for a fair and impartial investigation and judgement. We make no accusations or excuses as of yet."Clearing his voice projector, Ultra Magnus presses the button indicating that he wishes to speak out. Apparently, he's allowed to do so, as the large Autobot comes to his feet. "What has happened to the people of Brandax is a tragedy. As Autobots our interest is also in finding the truth. In any capacity that we are able to help, we will try to do as much. Different to what others may think," he pauses, to throw a glance towards Ollin. "We are not making assumptions of who was behind the attacks." He stops, looking at Shockwave now. It was kind of funny, that in fact Ultra Magnus could see himself agreeing with some of those words. He had no intention to drag other beings into this war, that has already taken far too long.Gargoyle stands as still as a lamp post, not saying one danged thing and if anyone makes him he'll kill himself to get out of it.The insect looks to Ollin and scowls for a brief moment. Kangaroo court? He makes a note to look up the reference later. Replying to Ollin first, he says, "We are not here for a witch hunt, President." he promises. To Shockwave, he merely nods since it's not like the purple one said anything all that vital anyway. Looking to the Terran, the insect nods, "Your point is valid. Should the Militants be found guilty, only the Terrans that are affiliated with them will face justice." To Ultra Magnus, he listens carefully. A few of the Brandaxian observers find themselves nodding at the Autobot's compassion. The insect pauses to see if there's anything else that anyone wants to say.Cybertiger looks at everyone going to such lengths and using such complicated words. When they could simply said 'I didn't do it.' Looks around for something he could munch on during the proceedings. .oO(Where did I leave Steeljaw's leg ?)Oo.Hot Spot says nothing for the moment, he's probably screw it up for Magnus anyway. He's a motivational speaker, not someone who would state facts.Trailbreaker has nothing to say about this at this point. He is a strategist not a speaker. While trying to motivate other Autobots and sometimes Junkions frequently he knows this ain't his turf. The insect nods and says, "Good. Lets begin." It suddenly thrusts a foreleg towards Chikome-Ollin and announces in a loud booming voice, "President Ollin. You are here to answer the accusations against the Militants of murder, theft, and destruction of property. Clearly, however, this is more than just a simple crime, but an act of war! We shall be presenting the evidence against your people. Despite your belief that this is a 'Kangaroo Court', this is very much a serious matter." The insect then demands quickly, "President Ollin, is it or is it not true that in your own dimension you have imprisoned and forcefully taken control of Cybertronians, forcing them to do your bidding?"Hot Spot grumbles at that, he glares at the militant as he fidgets with groove in one of his arms.Cybertiger looks at Ollin .oO(Imprisoning Cybertronians ? Why that annoying little fleshling. I hope my counterpart bit his wife's head off and ate his dog.)Oo.From outside, Afterburner has disconnected.Gargoyle's optics flicker red slightly at that sentence, but he continues doing his goalpost imitation dutifullyWhile the attention is diverted at the podium, Rampage takes a quick lick at Shockwave's arm and mutters something.Rampage mutters to Shockwave, "... is... you in... to kidnap... lost."You whisper "This is so I can track you in case they want to kidnap you or if you get lost." to Shockwave.Shockwave glances towards Rampage, wondering what it is that the Predacon wants - and why the Hell he's being licked. He nods to Rampage, but gives no verbal sign of what happened. He somehow doubts that it'll be neccesary, though.Chikome-Ollin raises a hand to his mouth to stiffle a quickly onsetting yawn before rising to his feet. While his posture remains one of a relaxed state, there is a barely contained fury brewing within his eyes as his gaze locks with that of the insectoid. "My own dimension? -This- is my dimension, I have no way, nor desire, to return to what was once my home. And it is -not- true that -I- had any part in imprisoning or taking control of Cybertronians in that dimension." He pauses for a moment before adding, "I can make no claims towards things that have happened their in the fifteen years I have been here. Even my power has its limits, I'm afraid." The Guards let out amused laughter behind their armor. For now Ultra Magnus remains silent. His optics do go towards Ollin, studying the Militant. His expression is not accusatory, though. He's simply listening to what the other has to say and as he speaks, Magnus starts rubbing his chin. He seems to have become more thoughtful now. Still, it is not time for him to speak out, yet. A glance is thrown towards the rest of the Autobots, trying to get a feeling for their own thoughts and reactions. The insect is clearly annoyed at the laughter of Ollin's guard. Gritting his mandibles, the insect replies in a testy tone, "_Charming_. Very well... I shall _rephrase_ the question." Struggling to maintain his composure, the insect says, "In your /native/ dimension from where you originate, is it or is it not true that Cybertronians were captured and forced to do the bidding of the Militants against their will, and that these enslaved Cybertronians were crossed over to this dimension and used as warriors?"Gargoyle finally focuses on Ollin, glints of red visible in his black optics as the statuesque seeker waits for the squishie's replyTrailbreaker sits calmly, noting every word Ollin uttered mentally. Only a slight flicker in his optics reveal his annoyance. Personally he is convinced that Ollin had a major part in these enslavements.Chikome-Ollin smiles politely towards the creature, nodding his head affirmative. "The situation you described did occur long after my absence by another Militant General. However, it was not the Militants who turned the Machines into thralls but one of their own. One named Bombshell, I believe. The Machine controlled the others through some form or another, and in turn served the Militants of his own free will. While thermite charges were inplanted into each and every Machine head to detonate should any of the wretched creatures begin to act out of place, the Militants had no way to control them. All were detonated when Bombshell was destroyed, a safety feature to keep them from gaining any amount of freedom."Spike twitches ever so slightly at the mention of this alternate universe genocide. He had known about it for years, but that doesn't make it strike any less close to home. Behind him his guards remain silent and impassive, unlike their counterparts in the Militant delegation.Skydive catches Ultra Magnus' optics and mentally shrugs. As far as he knows what Ollin says is fact until further information is revelaed. The insect creature nods as Ollin gives a useful reply to him, "So you are saying that the method that was used to control the Cybertronians is now destroyed." Clearly he has no problem with the whole enslaving part. "And thus therefore the attackers could not have been under your control." He pauses and considers that, "If you are telling the truth." He suddenly pauses and looks at the display before him, "A diplomat from the Decepticons wishes to speak. Rampage." he calls upon the Predacon to let him say his piece. Diplomat? Er...Arcee's expression is decidedly locked into a frown as the 'proceedings' continue. Occasionally, she glances over at Ultra Magnus to see how he is reacting to the news. As well as in the direction of Spike. The color in her optics is fading slightly as she listens to what happened in that 'other dimension', but she has nothing to offer in the way of useful information. She's in pretty much the same information-boat that the other Autobot's are rowing.Cybertiger smacks the button with his paw and growls a bit "Oh P-L-E-A-S-E... Like any Cybertronian would willingly work for you. Specialy when you call them 'wretched' creature. Use terms like 'acting out of place'. Putting bombs in the neck of machines ? Face it pal, you're a squishy who could not share his toys a kid just like you could not share your dimension. Dimension hogger and for the record, Bombshell was a moron who could not even hit the floor if he fell on it. No way would he be able to control every Cybertronian in one dimension. Only the Borg can do that. And I think I'm done."Gargoyle manages to resist the urge to both bury his head in his hands and then put a dagger in the cat's neck to get him to shut up.The insect quirks an oily brow and looks down at his display - as if he even had to - "I see that President Ollin wishes to reply to that." He looks to the President expectingly.Ultra Magnus frows at the turn of events. His optics go to Ollin again, as he tries to read the human. He definitely didn't like the way this was going now, but the large Autobot tries to keep his expression somewhat neutral. Magnus also looks at Spike, trying to see something in the other. The whole situation was in fact very complicated. The fact that Ultra Magnus had to be so careful, not wanting to put Earth in more danger that it was already was something that was starting to bug him, quite a bit. Silent exchanges are returned with Arcee, as he catches her looking in his direction.Shockwave looks at Rampage, but says nothing. If only there were some Decepticons with an IQ over 20 that were available for this mission. But then, it would have looked suspicious of they sent all of the sneaky-lying-bastard type Cons.Chikome-Ollin nods his head affirmative to the insectoid once again. "During the battle at Autobot City, during which I defeated and took prisoner the rogue Militant General, the Machine Bombshell was killed by one of his own kind and led to the death of all the rest. The Autobots can confirm, as can records in Ayotzinco." When Rampage speaks, Ollin doesn't bother to turn and look towards the Decepticon pussycat, but instead speaks his retort back to the moderator. "I cannot speak for the Machine that worked with my counterparts in their universe, I asume it just had an acute sense of self-preservation and saw better to serve willingly than under someone else's control. But I appreciate the Decepticon Machine's efforts to offer nothing of value to these proceedings. I would expect no less."Gargoyle manages to keep himself calm by thinking nice thoughts..oO(KILLmurder*stabbity*stab*kill...)Trailbreaker actually smiled at Rampages little speech for but a moment, then his expression turned neutral again as the proceedings went on.Spike shakes his head silently as he actually finds himself agreeing with Ollin's opinion for once. Nonetheless, he keeps his mouth shut for now. No need to further stir up sentiment against the Earth by placing himself with the Militant General in the public eye.The insect addresses the Autobot delegation, saying, "Can you confirm that this Bombshell was destroyed." Turning towards Ollin he says, "And how do we know that you didn't take the technology from Bombshell? It certainly sounds like the type of thing that would further your anti-Cybertronian views." Glancing towards Rampage, he says to Ollin, "Your point regarding the lack of value from Rampage's comments is well noted."Chikome-Ollin smiles sharply in answer. "The thermite explosion did not leave much in the way of remains to the Machine Bombshell. I believe some portions of scrap were recovered from the battlefield to be taken back and smolten down... but those have been turned into a statue that resides within Ayotzinco now. And I can only offer speculation that were I to currently posses Cybertronian slaves, the only target I would seek to inflict them upon would be their own foul, diseased planet."The Autobot Sub-Commander nods his head. "This is true," he states, regarding the destruction of Bombshell. Magnus tries to continue with his neutral expression. He almost adds something else, but for now decides to not do so. The Autobots and him are not here to accuse anyone. His piece said, he falls silent once more. The insect pauses again as Chikome-Ollin brings out another good point - namely that had Ollin the power to control the Cybertronians, he'd probably use it against the Cybertronians themselves. Nodding at Magnus's classic emotionless-nothing-but-the-facts-that-I-can-handle way of confirming Ollin's statements. Smiling in a crude manner to Ollin, the insect says in a loud voice, "Well then, President, since your people do not have the capability, will you allow a team to be sent to Mexico to investigate?" Like the UN weapon-investigators in Iraq, only looking for control devices this time. "I'm sure that within an Earth year or two of going through your files and facilities we could determine whether you do or do not have this capability..." he pauses and looks down at his display. Sighing audibly, he says, "Delegate Rampage wishes to comment..." He pauses again, "Followed by Ambassador Witwicky."Cybertiger looks from the moderator to Ollin "Your honor, this 'human' is a blantant racist. That can be easily proven by the way he refers to us Cybertronians, saying we are unfeeling machines, not really alive or that we are not even worth our own weight in galactic currency. This is also proven by the politics he put in place inside his own country. And as a racist, I think it is entirely within 'reasonable doubt' your honor that he would lash out other species for the sake of his stupid blind hatred for other lifeforms. Do you deny your a racist squishy Ollin ? Your honor I object to Cybertron being referred to as 'foul' and 'diseased' since it is by far cleaner than earth and is populated by many less parasitic viral organism and I reinforce my claim that Ollin is a racist by the diffamatory way he keeps referring to us." You can't help but wonder the how can that mentally challenged predacon can come up with intelligent stuff to say. Guess he watched so many 'courtroom movies' he actually developped a limited understanding of the proceedings.Gargoyle this time actually MOVES! yes... he turns his head an entire three inches to one side to just STARE at Rampage a moment..oO(Oh... My... ) he then swivels his stoen head back to look at Ollin before going back to his Goalpost impression.Spike stands to speak. "I apologize for the interruption, but what if anything do the Militant's technological abilities have to do with their alleged culpability in the recent attacks? Guilt by way of capability is a weak standing for any prosecution to be based upon." Spike pauses for a moment, his gaze shifting to Rampage. "As for accusations of racism, let he without sin cast the first stone my good sir. Few will take your coments in that area seriously while you interspace them with racial slurs such as 'squishy'."Skydive pushes the button in front and to the right of his seat and stands when he gets the nod, "I agree tha this is all very amusing, " he galnces towards Rampage, then back towards the Moderator, "But what facts do you have to back up your accusation. If you could ignore the techno-babble of Chikome. I admit he is effective in the art of Filibuster, but we should get to the point and the solution as quickly as possible. Therefore I propose you state the evidence that you hve against the accused." and he takes a seat to await a response. The insect looks down at his display and comments once Rampage is finished, "You bring up some interesting points, Rampage. Perhaps the xenophobic nature of the Militants could have provoked this unwarranted attack on Brandax. Skydive of the Autobots will be following the Ambassador from Earth." He looks to Ollin expectingly, as if wondering if he's going to press the button to get in line to make a comment. But for now, he looks to Spike and smiles, "We shall come to that, Mr. Witwicky. You are correct. There's plenty of hostility in this room, hmm?" He's clearly enjoying letting the various factions throw mud at each other. To Skydive he nods, "Very well!" He presses a button on his control panel and a screen lights up behind him. Scenes of various Cybertronians blasting away at the helpless Brandaxian army can be seen. Jets roar in and annihilate the primitive tanks. The view is very fuzzy so it's tough to make out who is exactly who. Suddenly one of the jets locks onto the source of the image and destroys it. "This was taken by a news vehicle that rushed to the scene during the attack. It was annihilated quickly upon reaching it." He presses another button, and sound comes out, "We have digitally enhanced the sound..." *President Ollin's will must be obeyed* *Glory to the Militants* *Hail Ollin* Staticy voices are heard. It's tough to tell exactly who was saying these things, but it's obviously different people. To the Autobots he asks, "Tell me, was the demeanor of the enslaved Cybertronians similar to what we are hearing now...?"Gargoyle makes sure he doesn't move a single muscle during all of this, black optics flicking from one speaker to another as he stands there like a mannequinThe edges of Ollin's mouth start to twist into a scowl. He is the victim in these proceedings, yet seems destined to suffer. "If the decision is considered a stalemate unless the proof of my statements within Meixco is verified, then I shall consider it. But not until that is the clearly defined outcome." At Rampage's comments, the General can only release a series of loud, amused laughs from deep within his chest. "I have never denied placing value upon my species over the Cybertronian race that seeks to tyrannically reign over Earth. But I cannot seriously acknowledge anything from a creature that attempts to bring to light somethng that I myself never hide while at the same time proving only likewise for himself with the attempted derogitory remarks towards my own species. And I would like to note for the record that Cybertron is indeed a festering shithole. I and many of my Militant troops were occupying a small settlement there on their planet during this attack on Brandax that I stand accused of, and it has no redeeming qualities. The Machines are too busy in their war to even bother to see their planet repaired and liveable. And to add proof of this, I offer receipts and verification of transport to and from Cybertron that your assault will have fallen between chronologically." Nodding curtly to one of this guards, the Militant steps forward with a small diplomatic envoy pouch, offering it to the insectiod.Shockwave glances towards Ollin suddenly. A landing party on Cybertron? That is a disturbing thought indeed. Especially since the Decepticon Command knew nothing of this. Clearly it's a good thing that they pulled this little trick when they did. Otherwise who knows what the Militants would be up to had they not now been distracted with this.Ultra Magnus decides to respond first to the question. He seems to do something akin to taking in a deep breath. "Not exactly," he admits. He frowns darkly as he continues. "The enslaved Cybertronians never claimed to be serving the Militants, of course," he pauses, shaking his head as he continues. "I'm going to have to admit that it doesn't make much sense to me, that the Militants would have Cybertronians under their control do what those just did. Claiming that Ollin was behind it all," Magnus states. "Unless, that is what they would want us to come to as a conclusion." He pauses, his optics now turning towards the leader of the Militants. "I'd like to add, that the continued statements by President Ollin in grouping all the Cybertronians as wanting to control Earth seem to show his own personal, yet wrong view of things and I'm not sure why he seems to continue bothering this court with them. The Autobots have no intention to conquer Earth, we strive to protect it. His opinion regarding Cybertron's condition has no weight on things either," he adds, shrugging his shoulders. "And the same way I pointed out that it would be stupid for President Ollin to allow Cybertronians under his control to cry out his name, I should point out that them having proof of being on Cybertron during the attacks, proves nothing, unless he wants to claim every single Militant was in Cybertron at the time." Ultra Magnus finishes.Skydive pushes his button yet again, "Your Honor, I happen to be the Autobot Air Warfare strategist and if those jets are Terran in nature I will be able to tell you. I will also be able to tell you if they are Cybertronian in nature or anything else known to me purely by an extended study of their flight patterns. Of course the brevity of your footage will make it difficult, but I believe that it can be done. I ask permission to take a recording of your video clips into a seperate room and the time study them." He smiles at the thought of being helpful and at the sametime being able to do some study on the flight of the machines."The insect smiles at Ollin, clearly amused by this little outburst. A festering shithole? How poetic. Not bothering to comment that Ollin did not buzz in before making his comment, the insect looks over the receipts briefly and nods at them, "These shall be verified later." he utters, not wishing to take away from this lovely amount of bitching that's being done by everyone involved - except for the Terrans and Autobots, of course, who have been on their best behaviour. "This also answers the question of whether or not you have the capability to get to Brandax..." If they can get to Cybertron, they can get to Brandax. The insectoid idly mentions in agreement to Magnus, "Of course, there's no reason that you could not have been doing both. Afterall, I believe you have enough troops to have your little visit to Cybertron /and/ to devastate the Brandaxian facility as well. I am pleased, however, that you are willing to discuss allowing investigators inside your facilities to see what they can find." And to find any dirt that the Militants might be hiding. Looking to the Autobot pylon, he pauses for a moment and nods. Again, this idea that the Militants were behind it has yet another hole. "The chair recognises Skydive of the Autobots." he looks towards the Aerialbot. The insect narrows what passes for eyes at Skydive and replies, "You may have a copy of it, of course. However quite frankly we will have only your word on the result." He tsks, "But for all the good it will do, feel free." He isn't sure if Skydive wants to do this /now/ or what, so merely presses a button and downloads the video to the Autobot podium's control panel, letting the Aerialbot view it as he wants.Aisha Redbird has arrived. The insect looks to the Militant squad, "President Ollin once again has the floor."Chikome-Ollin smiles brightly as he continues, gesturing towards the diplomatic pouch held by the insectiod. "You will also find in there logs of all Militant vessels from the aerospaceport in Ayotzinco verifying that none of our ships took part in any interstellar trip during that time period, confirmed by NORAD radar systems in the United States." Ah, so nice to have peace between the US and Mexico. "As for your data there, as the Autobot Machine has already stated I would like to find confirmation on just what Cybertronian crafts were attacking during that footage. Surely if they came from my control, they would be just a smattering of either side in their war troopwise, unless either the Decepticons or Autobots have suffered massive casulities at the hands of squishies recently?"Hardstrike has arrived.Hot Spot frowns at the blatent disreguard of all races in this. He thinks, 'why can't we all just get along?' The protectobot still keeps quiet not really knowing what else to say that hasn't already been said.Aisha Redbird slips quietly into the Militant section and takes a seat, hoping she doesn't disturb anyone. It's a bloody pain to be delayed to things of importance on this level.Hardstrike sits in the autobot section, and thus far has been listening quietly as each individual party speaks. .oO(Figures. Chances are, it was the Militants all along. Unfortunatly, the last thing Earth needs are more aliens fighting private battles on it.)The insect has already given the pouch to someone else to have them scanned over and verified - at least as much as possible. Clearly he is indeed interested by what the President says, however. "However, President, is it not true that you-" He pauses, "/Pardon me/... the /Militants in your /native/ dimension/ have also been known to bring both Autobots and Decepticons over into this dimension? That would certainly explain why there are no records of you capturing Autobots and Decepticons from this dimension, hmmm? Furthermore..." He presses a button again and the grainy sounds can be heard again. *Alert Sky Lynx. Our mission is completed* *Skydive, remove the ground threats* It's obviously a Cybertronian voice. The insect can't help but look over at the real Skydive for a moment. "Ambassador Witwicky. You have the floor." He looks towards the squishy. From outside, Crosshair has connected. From outside, Crosshair disembarks from the Rusty. From outside, Crosshair has arrived.Spike stands quickly after Ollin. "The United Nations will be happy to offer our radar and satellite records of the time period in question. I'm sure this will be able to at the very least prove that no attack was launched directly from Earth. Plus it should be noted that none of the evidence that you have thus far provided is anything but circumstantial. The poor quality of the recording, plus the obviously damaged audio track aren't exactly helping this prosecution. In addition, simply bringing more slaves from the alternate dimension wouldn't do much good if their controling means has already been destroyed as we established earlier."Hardstrike reaches over, and taps a button in front of his seat.Crosshair has arrived.Ultra Magnus goes back to his listening mode. He's trying to absorb the information coming from all different sources into his databanks. His optics even flicker slightly now and then. He rubs his chin, his gaze now falling on Spike as the other speaks.Cybertiger looks around and scratches his chin a bit with one of his hind legs.Skydive's head comes up as his name is mentioned in the recording and he looks around the room hoping that no one actually thinks that it was him! Then he resumes his study of the recording.Gargoyle continues his stone tree impression. The moderator smiles at Spike, who has been nothing short of a gentleman during these proceedings. Unlike President 'Cybertron's a festering shithole' Ollin. As well, Spike might as well have been setting up the moderator for the crowning touch - which he withholds for now. "Except, Ambassador, that as we have discussed it is possible that they were able to retreive the technology from Bombshell, either after or before he was destroyed." It shrugs with multiple shoulders, "Can you really tell me that the Militants wouldn't try to duplicate Bombshell's effects? Perhaps now they have succeeded. I cannot imagine them wishing to rely on a 'machine' to keep control over their subjects, hmm?" He looks to the Autobot delegation, "Hardstrike of the Autobots. You now have the floor.""Followed by President Ollin," he quickly adds.Trailbreaker leans back in his chair, not really knowing anything to say that hasn't already been spoken either. He calmly continues to observe. The Autobot sharpshooter quietly enters the room, moving quietly through the crowds toward the position of the Autobot speakers, taking the seat beside Ultra Magnus' box, glancing at the City Commander and frowning a behind his chrome-plated facemask, his red optics narrowed a touch as he shakes his cranial unit. Settling into the seat, Crosshair takes a glance around the room, a bit surprised to see that all those assembled have, for the most part, remained calm, even with members of opposing factions present. Crosshair does not make a move to ask for permission to speak, just simply sits, glancing occassionally to Magnus and the other Autobots.Hardstrike stands, and puts down a datapad. " A report placed by the Autobot Steeljaw, supported by other accounts involving an attack on Autobot City during a time of political turmoil within the Militant forces on Earth." He waits momentarily for others to look it over. " During that time, Cybertronians, under a type of mind control very similar to the 'cerebro-shell' used by Decepticon Bombshell was used to make the perfect soldiers from the cybertronians imported from Chikome-Ollin's universe-Willing to fight to their death, never questioning orders. Among these were the alternate universe versions of many Autobots, especially those active previous to our arrival on Earth. Its perfectly possiblethe Alternate Universe versions of Jetfire and Skydive could of been 'imported' and 'controlled' to create that recording, or, even make the attack itself..." Hardstrike sits, leaving the datapad.Gargoyle continues with his log impression. Is'nt he a pretty log?Chikome-Ollin shakes his head no in denial to the moderator. "There was -one- solitary incident of Machines from the conquered Cybertron in my original universe being brought over, those that were slaves for General Wolf Cloud. We have never made any trips back to our universe to claim more, we do not possess the means to do so. And as amusing as it was to watch Machines do battle against their own kind in the name of the Militants, it is much more satisfying defeating them by human hands rather than letting one of their own kind enjoy getting to bathe in the spilled energon."As he hears Ollin's last comment, it almost looks as if Ultra Magnus were to jump in and say something. The large Autobot stops himself, though, and simply frowns darkly at the Militant. No use in allowing himself to be goaded into bickering. Something akin to a deep breath is offered, and Magnus simply continues to listen. The insect stares at Hardstrike, shifts slightly, stares at him again, and finally replies in a curt tone, "Yes... that is exactly what we have said... However thank you for restating it in case people missed it the first time..." he adds sarcastically. Looking to Ollin it tilts its head at the bloodthirsty nature. Bathe in spilled energon? "You are correct that there has been only one -recorded- incident of conquered machines crossing over to our dimension... but that doesn't mean that there couldn't be more. I find it difficult to believe that you /wouldn't/ try it again." It raises a foreleg, "But then there is no proof of that." it adds. Glancing around, he notices that finally everyone has shut-up. Alas, the bitch-fest is over for now. "We have established that the Militants did indeed have the capability of enslaving Cybertronians to do their bidding, and it is possible they have recovered that. However as of yet there has been no proof displayed that the Militants /were/ at Brandax." It pauses, lets the suspense rise, and adds, "Until now." It presses a button on the control panel and the screen lights up once more. "This is a record of the information that the Brandaxian satellites recorded before being annihilated." He points to a line of data, "And here... is a Militant starship that was detected in orbit. There can be no mistake. The transponder codes match exactly to known Militant codes. They cannot be replicated without Militant knowledge." Or a spy who got said Militant knowledge. Like Ravage. Cough cough.Hardstrike gives a silent, but fake and sarcastic little laugh at the bug, before rolling his optics. Cyclonus says, "Doubleback... report to me at your earliest convenience." Doubleback says, "As you wish, Commander."Even Arcee's optics flash dangerously at the last comment by Ollin. But, she simply lets out a hiss of hair and purposefully relaxes in her chair. Although, she does lean over towards Magnus perhaps to whisper something. Crosshair's entrance is noted as well and she nods her head towards him in a silent hello. Welcome to the ruckus. Once the leader of this partcular court hearing begins speaking again though - she flickers her optics back that way to pay attention to what evidence or information is being offered. The insect doesn't even look down at his display panel, just guessing that Ollin wants to reply, "You have the floor, President."Gargoyle keeps himself from trying to kill something by imagining he's killing something - again .oO(KillKillMurderStabSTabbityStabb)Skydive is comppletely engrossed in his study if the recording. The planet could go up and Skydive wouldn't cae..well he would but he is really occupied now.Like many of the others assembled around the Autobot chair, Crosshair's expression darkens when he hears Ollin's words, something about the amusement of forcing Machines into battle with each other at the command of the Militants--whatever the comment was, it was beneath Crosshair's dignity. Well, he would like to believe so, anyway. He himself is close to an outburst and emotional rebuttle to Ollin's comments, and another glance is given the Autobot City Commander, and Crosshair relaxes--seems he is not the only one to be irked by the Militant's words. But the political arena is not his battlefield, and so the lad simply continues to listen, glowering at the Militant Commander.Chikome-Ollin's right hand clenches for a brief moment to tighten into a fist but is quickly released. Studying the data for a moment, a wry smirk spreads across his face. "Indeed. That was once the transponder code for the Militant shuttle Wormwood, when it was held by General Wolf Red Cloud. But the codes were changed as soon as the Wormwood became the official Mexican Presidential craft, to reflect its new diplomatic status. In fact, it is the same vehicle that is currently parked on the tarmac outside."Trailbreaker shakes his head in disgust at Ollins words and leans a bit forward, focusing his optics on the Militant a long moment. Then his pose lessens and he leans back, listening.Hardstrike mutters, and taps his button once more. The insect quirks a brow. He mutters something to a nearby Brandaxian aid, who rushes out of the room to check the current transponder codes of the Wormwood. Replying to Chikome-Ollin the moderator says in a snarling voice, "And how, President, do we know that? You have admited that this /is/ a used Militant transponder code. Nobody else would be able to duplicate it." Without Ravage doing what he did a while back, again. "So we /know/ that it was a Militant ship that was in orbit of Brandax during the time of the attack." The insect seems to be getting a bit riled up, "Whether it was using its 'diplomatic status' codes or not, the fact does remain. How do you explain this, President?" Finally the insect notices the flashing light on his display panel. "Hardstrike of the Autobots again." Ollin can answer either now or after Strike.Aisha Redbird frowns at the line the conversation is taking and moves up to stand by Ollin, whispering something to him as she pushes the button to be recognized.Hardstrike smiles slightly. " Simply, I'd like to say that its been over a year since the Red Cloud incident. If the codes haven't been changed until the past few months when the Wormwood's 'status' changed, then it is your own fault, 'Mr.President' if it was indeed 'stolen'.The insect smiles slightly as the panel lights up with more people wishing to speak. "Once Hardstrike if finished - and I'll allow Ollin a chance to reply to my questions - then Aisha Redbird of the Militants and Ultra Magnus will follow." To Hardstrike, he merely looks to Ollin again to see his reaction. The Autobot Sub-Commander considers the situation, his optics flickering once. He looks up and presses the button asking to speak up, but not before looking at Hardstrike and offering a warning glance. They had to be careful in how they handled this situation. Not only did they want to find the truth, as Magnus had stated when they arrived, but they also had to keep Earth from being attacked in the process.Hardstrike meets Magnus' glance, and nods slightly, sending a short, private radio. From outside, Hardstrike transmits a message via radio to Ultra Magnus.Hardstrike transmits a message via radio to Ultra Magnus. From outside, Ultra Magnus receives a radio transmission.Ultra Magnus receives a radio transmission.Chikome-Ollin starts to speak when the insignificant Autobot speaks up, and the General decides to answer him first. "Foolish Machines should not speak of what they do not know. As soon as Red Cloud's heart was ripped free of his chestal cavity atop my home in Mexico and given to Huitzilopochli, the Militant troops and Mexican government officials had the records updated and the Wormwood reclassified as my diplomatic shuttle. Though I kept the ship's name as I rather found it amusing." His gaze never having left the insectoid, he gives a brief nod for Aisha to speak up as well while continuing. "If all you have is transponder signals, it is still circumstanial evidence. Yes, theortically it could have been a Militant vessel with Machine slaves doing our dirty work. I have nothing to gain by this, though, with far more important demands to be met within the borders of my nation and my planet. This is far too inconsequential of a place to provide me any interest. But it could have easily have been stolen codes taken from my shuttle in conjunction with an orchestrated attack designed to be blamed upon me by Machines who feel threatened by the presence of myself and my people."Shockwave looks innocent.Hardstrike starts to stand quickly, reaching for a side compartment that typically holds his weapon, and his face twists into a sneer at the insult. But, he catches a look from Ultra Magnus, and sits back down, still glaring.Gargoyle looks like a flagpoleAisha Redbird speaks, "To take a step back, in regards to the arguments regarding Bombshell and his cerebroshells, I submit this." she produces a datacard, "I was a member of the Militant Team in our dimension to whom he surrendered. And despite days of coercion, torture, and attempted invasive operations, Bombshell flatly refused to allow us knowledge of his Cerebroshell technology. The log of the 3 day session is right there for your viewing, I would also point out that if anyone were able to replicate the technology, the Decepticon Empire would be the most likely, as I'm quite certain their computer banks would have records of Bombshell's systems from the bygone days, when they would obviously have to be able to -repair- him. It's far more feasable that they would possess the knowledge needed, then it is for us to use it. After all, -we- had bombshell, why bother replicating the technology?" she smiles at the insects, and moves to sit down once more, her mind working furiously on other tactics, and what else she might have from her personal data archives that could be used in defense.Hardstrike just stares at Aisha. .oO(Torture...invasive operations...)Crosshair taps the button on the desk in front of him, glowering at the female militant as she throws around terms such as coercion and torture, his red optics darkening a bit as a glance is thrown toward Hardstrike, whose sentiments he seems to share. A compartment on Crosshair's thigh slides open, but his chrome hands remain atop the desk before him, glancing briefly at Arcee, looking at the femme for a moment before moving to Magnus and then Ollin.Aisha Redbird has no need to deny the nature of the Militants. It would be wasted breath.Gargoyle keeps himself happily occupied with planning new, sonar and light-scattering patterns of etching to put on his next armor replacement.Trailbreaker has left. From outside, Trailbreaker has arrived. From outside, Trailbreaker strides forward, peering about.Chikome-Ollin entertains himself with thoughts of long, sweaty sleepless nights with his wife once he returns to Earth when not concentrating on refuting the lies that are charged against him. Not that anyone cares. Turning to Aisha, Ollin gives a curt nod of appreciation. From outside, Trailbreaker has left. From outside, Trailbreaker boards the Rusty. From outside, Trailbreaker strides forward, peering about. The insect nods to Aisha and her President. It taps its chin with a foreleg idly, almost as if he were starting to have some doubts about this being the fault of the Militants. His display panel lights up and he mutters, "Shockwave will be speaking after Ultra Magnus..." To Redbird he does point out, "Because I for one would find it tough to believe you would willingly let a Cybertronian keep his secrets and his freedom - even as limited as that may have been. "Also, I'm sure you'd like a backup plan in case Bombshell..." he smiles, "Died somehow." To Ollin he asks, "I am interested in sending teams to Mexico to investigate. Would you allow them to pour through your files and databanks?" Security risk? Yes. Pretty sure chance to prove your innocence? Yes. He looks to Magnus to see what the Autobot pylon has to say.Gargoyle podners then what its like to etch a squishy...Aisha Redbird waits for reactions to that little datacard, as she pulls her laptop from the bag she carried with her, to go through further archives and see if there's anything recent to help the situation. From outside, Trailbreaker has disconnected."Crosshair shall be after Shockwave." The insect adds.Aisha Redbird considers what the Insect says... quite true in fact. The only reason the team gave up trying was the simple fact that the Cerebroshells were ultimately only part of the plan, and could be worked around in such a situation. She smiles a bit, fully expecting the Decepticon to mount a hasty defense to her deflection.Ultra Magnus proceeds to stand up now. He looks at Aisha. "Perhaps, because the 'machine' in question may stop being useful, therefore having the technology would be useful as well," it was obvious that Magnus himself was getting tired of the constant comments the Militants seemed to be fond of throwing around. "Regardless of that point, the truth of the matter is that I'll have to agree with President Ollin on the fact that the without visual contact of that ship, there's not enough proof," he says, doing something similar to taking in a deep breath. "On the same note, his assumptions that the Cybertronians as a while are trying to frame him, are just that, assumptions. As it is, I think the best way to prove the Militant involvement is by in fact for this court to do a more in depth investigation. Like I've said before, I have to agree that both the transponder and the footage of Cybertronians claiming to be doing things in Ollin's name, doesn't prove much. The later being quite stupid for President Ollin to allow if he was in fact behind it all."Shockwave stands up, speaking for the first time ever since he made his 'we'll cooperate fully' BS speech way at the beginning. He had been hoping to keep a low profile so that the attention wouldn't be drawn to him and his guilty band of Decepticons. "Ultra Magnus is correct. Fact: During the time that Bombshell was alive, the Insecticons were not an official part of the Empire. Fact: The Insecticons were and technically still are are sepparate mercenary group. Hypothesis: Since the Insecticons were not solely loyal to the Empire, there is no way that we could have taken his technology from him. Fact: Bombshell's body was disposed of before it was returned to Cybertron." A mistake, in his opinion. Course, he has nobody but Decepticons to back him up on that. And Unicron, I guess... but that's not much help. "Clearly the Militants wish to deflect attention away from their own crimes." He sits down without another word. The insect doesn't seem convinced by the purple tyrant, but nods to Ultra Magnus. "Crosshair has the floor. Followed by Skydive, who perhaps is done his analysis.""Followed by President Ollin, who I hope has considered my offer about sending teams to Mexico."When he sits down, Ultra Magnus turns towards Hardstrike and his expression softens. The large Autobot nods in his direction acknowledging his previous radio message. Magnus' optics fall on the rest of the Autobots, moving from one to the other.Aisha Redbird leans over to Ollin."Thank you, Councilor," Crosshair says quietly, turning from the insect to regard the court. "I second the motion to conduct an investigation of the activities of the government of Mexico, in particular the Ministry of Defense as well as the dealings of Mexico's President," Crosshair says in a quiet, slightly strained voice, a chrome finger extended toward Ollin. "The fact of the matter is that the evidence that may point to the possible Militant involvement is purely circumstantial--it would behoove the Council to take a more proactive stance in dealing with this unfortunate matter. However, I do not know if the President would allow for such a team to conduct said investigation without various stipulations--unless the President feels that he has nothing to hide. We simply cannot continue in this method of guesswork and baseless accusations." Pausing for a moment, Crosshair looks briefly over at Magnus, the frown still evident in his optics, and though it appears he is finished, with something akin to a sigh, he continues. "I further propose that said investigatory team be comprised of members of the races assembled--Cybertronian, Terran, as well as Brandaxian..." A brief pause as the sniper adds, "...and Militant. It is only fair that we should consider the positions of all those assembled and what is at stake." With that, the lad seats himself, glancing to the Sub-Commander for a reaction, steepling silver fingers before him.The insect smiles at Crosshair. It'd be wonderful if all the involved races could send people to investigate Mexico. But is Ollin stupid enough to let Autobot, Terran, and Decepticon spies- I mean investigator in there? He looks to Skydive and idly comments, "Ambassador Witwicky shall follow the President of Mexico."Skydive presses his button once more..then stands as he i s called on, "You are correct you honor, I have finished my analyses of your footage. In the opinion fo an expert of Terran aircrat I can say with all certainty that these Aircraft are not Terran in nature." he glances back down at his personal screen, "But I am aware that the question here is not if the attackers were Terran in nature but 'other worldly' Cybertronian." Skydive calmly pauses to scratch his head then continues, "I can say that the flight patterns of these aircraft are arguably Cybertronian, but as I haven't the expertise in dimensional differences in Cybertronians I will need a little more time. But I can say that the craft and their patterns are strangely familair... That only suggests two things: The Mechs from the other dimension are identical to us in every way, or that they are cybertronians from this realm." he sits back down knowing that he has only added to the confusion but this isn't easy. But he takes his seat awaiting an answer and resumes his research. The insect nods to Skydive, idly making a note to see if he can't get some more information on the alt-universe mechs in order to compare with what Skydive has determined. He looks to Ollin to see what wonderful things he's going to say.Shockwave likes the idea of sending sanctioned spies to Mexico. Hell, maybe they can get some more transponder codes.Cybertiger looks around at the people gathered here and at how intense the debate is getting .oO(Wonder how this will turn out in the end....Oh well....Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive)Oo.Chikome-Ollin once again cannot hide his scowl, having no desire for any outside source to come into Mexico and sort through classified data. "You have offered no concrete proof that the Militants are responsible. You have invited the Machines here as well because of some involvement or another. I will not submit to scans of my sensative files in Mexico unless you dispatch agents to each of the Cybertronian groups as well. Even then I can imagine you will find no proof one way or another, as much as everything else can be doctored I do not see how you would find proof among the guilty parties either." He offers no comment to Crosshair's suggestion, as it has already been covered. However, he will speak out on Skydive's findings. "It is known to all parties here that the Cybertron in my homeworld evolved far differently than the one of this world. They never knew war until my Warlord and I arrived on their world and destroyed their ruling triumverate. We nearly succeeded in conquering the planet before Benefactor and Machine interference, brought over by a dimensional anomoly. They had not known war beforehand, and were not very good at it. General Red Cloud conquered Cybertron without much effort years later. They had only the basic levels of weaponry compared to those here and not much in the area of tactics either. This only further proves my point that this is all an attemp to frame the Militants that was pulled off with only a modicum of thought behind it."Transmission from Afterburner: 'ey fragface, yer mug is foulin' up the galactic syndication ratings. So, ya' know, kindly get if off my screen. From outside, Afterburner transmits a message via radio. From outside, Rampage receives a radio transmission.Aisha Redbird presses the button to speak again, as something more occurs to her.Spike stands for a brief moment. "Although I can sympathize with this government's desire to inspect Militant and Mexican holdings, I don't believe that you have mustered sufficient evidence to demand access to arguably sensitive areas of their technology and industries. We must respect the Militant and Mexican people's rights as a sovereign nation to maintain their national security. To do less simply is not yet warranted unless there is more evidence which has not yet been presented."You transmit a message to Afterburner: Shut your trap and know your role jabronie. I would feast on your mech fluids and use your tires as a footrest for my couch but my commander told me to behave for now. Although we all know what he's going to say." He looks to Ollin and says, "President... I can understand why you would not want Autobot or Decepticon investigators. Terran as well, given the state of your wars." He inclines his head in partial agreement to Spike and continues speaking to Chikome-Ollin, "However surely a small team made up of a third party... We would not share this information with anyone, of course. Do you agree? It would certainly put the matter to rest." Shockwave stands up to take his turn, "The Empire has not had /any/ evidence presented that points to it as the guilty party. As such, we refuse to allow an outside source into our databanks." The insect knew that was coming, "Ultra Magnus has the floor."You whisper, "Some autobot just issued me a challenge and wants me to step outside to beat his aft like a freshly made minibot. Can I ?" to ShockwaveShockwave looks towards Rampage and shakes his head in a firm 'no'. That would be creating a 'galactic incident'. Remember we have orders against that sort of thing.Transmission from Afterburner: Yer gonna listen to that cycloptian accountant? How pathetic. Any Stunticons in there? They'd hop outside into this here dark alleyway and take it like a real 'bot in a matter o' moments. From outside, Afterburner transmits a message via radio. From outside, Rampage receives a radio transmission."It doesn't prove much. It proves that simply the Cybertronians that were involved in this situation were not acting like the Cybertronians from your universe," Ultra Magnus states, having pressed the buttong and having been allowed to speak out. His optics fall on Spike, and he shakes his head. The soldier in him was coming to the front now, that practical aspect of him. "We can't continue going on circles like we have so far. There's not enough evidence presented, I agree on this, but it doesn't sound like there will be, unless we start doing something about this. This bickering is going to get us nowhere. I for one, am willing to have a third neutral party look at our own databanks if needed. As long as this party is under strict supervision," he squints his optics, looking first at Spike, then at Shockwave... moving to Ollin and finally falling on the Mediator himself. "Further more, I'd like to propose that this 'third' party also looks into the Brandaxians records. Perhaps there is something there that has been missed so far. Else we are going to continue here to eternity stating how none of us did it. And I don't know about you all, but I grow tired of doing all this circling around. There was an injustice done to the people of Brandax. Furthermore, we all want to prove we didn't do it. So lets work on solving this issue, instead of the stupid bickering that keeps going on." And his words said, Ultra Magnus sits down, arms crossed over his chest. You transmit a message to Afterburner: I just asked my commander for confirmation and said fighting here would fall into the 'I ordered you NOT to create a galactic incident' section. I am sure stunticons would leap outside but Razorclaw says that's because Stunticons are stupid. Don't worry you will get your turn once we return to Cybertron and I will happily smack you around like a freshly built minibot. From outside, Rampage transmits a message via radio. From outside, Afterburner receives a radio transmission.Transmission from Afterburner: Yer a joke. Apparently a stalemate is here unless something can be done. The Autobots are willing to let others look at the databanks, the Decepticons aren't... the Terrans who knows... it's all one big mess. He looks almost pleadingly to Ollin to say the words that'll let everyone go home. Almost.Shockwave whispers something back to the Predacon Gunner.Shockwave whispers: Nnn... ignore his transmissions, Rampage.Cybertiger nods at his commander and switches his radio off.Rampage switches off its radio. From outside, Afterburner transmits a message via radio. From outside, Shockwave receives a radio transmission.Shockwave receives a radio transmission.Shockwave stands up slightly and suddenly interupts without warning, "I am receiving a transmission..." he announces... "From an Autobot." He lets the Brandaxian authorities confirm this transmission, "Strange..." He turns up the sound, letting others hear what he's receiving. It's Afterburner's voice. Clearly. It can easily be tracked: 'Transmission from Afterburner: Why don't you shut tha' frag up too, while yer there, huh?' Shockwave tilts his head innocently and looks to Ultra Magnus, "Do you have an explanation for this outburst?"Cybertiger looks at Shockwave with a 'please let me beat his aft' look.Shockwave looks to Rampage and shakes his head firmly again. No no, let the Autobots ruin their image. "If a small team of Brandaxian investigators is what is required to end this for now and allow me to return home..." Those idle thoughts of before reemerge. "Then I will allow them, as long as Militant troops are there to supervise the data acquisition. I will allow a few UN officials as well if the Security Council feels it is necessary. I have nothing to hide in relation to this matter and will be grateful when the truth is revealed and my innocence proven."Cybertiger firmly clings to his chair to resist the urge to leap outside and 'liberate' Brandax from a violent tyranical autobot. From outside, Afterburner transmits a message via radio. From outside, Ultra Magnus receives a radio transmission.Ultra Magnus receives a radio transmission.Skydive looks up from his terminal in surprise then looks towards the door and shakes his head at schizophrenic gestalt members. For while the Militants and people of Mexico have not suffered nearly as much as the Brandaxians over these events, we -have- suffered and I demand retribution for it as well."Shockwave is still looking to Ultra Magnus, "Indeed." The insect looks surprised as well, and shakes his head in surprise and annoyance. "Ahem... back to the issue at hand if we're done with interuptions." He resumes looking at Ollin, "Of course. Once the investigation is concluded, all charges will be dropped. As for charges of attempting to frame you, you'll be allowed to aid the justice should someone else be found guilty." He smiles with his mandibles, apparently already assuming that the Militants will be found innocent. "The court thanks you for allowing this and resolving the conflict. If there is nothing else..." he looks at the Autobots to see if there's going to be any other transmissions, "Then we are finished here." He nods to himself and adresses everyone, "Now get the Hell out of here."Of course, Witwicky was right, there were no grounds for an investigation of the affairs of the Mexican politico, anymore than there were for an investigation of the Autobots or the even the Decepticons--everything that was being presented at this meeting was based on accusation and supposition. But when the insect mentions that idea that all charges would be dropped after the investigation, Crosshair's face breaks into a scowl, albeit hidden behind his mask. "What if we actually find something though, do we let Ollin off then?" he mutters to himself, glancing over his shoulder at the disruption caused by one of the other Autobots--Afterburner.Shockwave stands up and turns his radio back to normal. Mission not-quite-accomplished-but-close-enough. The Militants will be found innocent, but they're going to waste a bit of their time dealing with the investigators and have probably annoyed them. But by far most important is that the Decepticons weren't fingered for the crime. Good enough.Cybertiger relaxes a bit "Finally, we are getting out of this place. He offers no comments against the decision of the court. He stands up, and gestures for the rest of the Autobots to follow out. He had no intentions to allow them to be goaded into a confrontation here in Brandax's soil.Aisha Redbird looks at Ollin, "Sir, may I go speak with the Brandaxian for a moment?"Spike stands and makes his way back to his shuttle, armored guard in tow. Jogging ahead, he lifts a hand and stands in front of Magnus, looking rather worried. "I didn't make a total fool out of myself up in front of the entire Galactic Court, did I, Commander?" the youth asks, a tone of genuine concern in his voice.Afterburner springs outward, appendages extending into robotic form.Ultra Magnus comes out of the courtroom. He doesn't sound too pleased. "All Autobots, return to the shuttle. Now." And the words are also trasmitted through different frequencies. "We will talk about a few things when we are inside the shuttle," the Sub-Commander adds. Everything had gone well, until this little incident at the end.
