Eventually, Clan Balgo would win the civil war and the Jedi was driven off Trandosha by Trandoshan Hunters. Soon Clan Balgo would capture one of the most important trading routes in the Galaxy; formerly held by Clan Rarsk, the Republic needed this trading route more than ever now that the Separatist Crisis was turning worse. After several months of bounty hunting under the guidance of his father, Tylon abandoned the business and approached the Jedi Temple with fear. There he would personally speak to the Council about becoming a member of the Order. At first, he was too old to train, although his ties with Clan Balgo could prove useful in recapturing the trade route. Despite his ties with Balgo, most of the Council refused to have an 'animal' in the ranks of the Order, considering the fact he was around the age of nineteen. Although, Yoda found Tylon's bond with the force impressive and intended to let him in the order. He was eventually given the rank of Initiate and quickly became a Padawan, soon having Master Plo Koon as his Master. During the duration of his Padawan Training, Tylon was often humiliated by his fellow Padawan's, primarily because he was a Trandoshan.
