Wood Kling was an American television writer, producer, playwright, and composer. He wrote the "We Are the Men of Texaco" jingle, was the head writer of The Carol Burnett Show, and created the cartoon series, Rainbow Brite (starring Andre Stojka, Pat Fraley, and Scott Menville). Kling died of lung and brain cancer in 1988, at the age of 62.
