| Synopsis
| - At Rip Hunter's Time Lab, somewhere in Arizona, an alarm goes off signalling that an unauthorized person is trying to access the time panel. Booster Gold and Skeets rush in and discover that Rip Hunter is fighting someone strong in the future. Booster is only able to pull Rip to the present. In Rip's hand is a dark superman insignia. Rip mumbles "Magog" then passes out.
Booster goes to the same future but before he learns anything, he is called back by Rip who says that Booster isn't ready for the future. In the present Magog is in Kahndaq attempting to stop a hostage situation by the Kahndaq Separatists. Magog rips off the lower right arm of their leader Dvorcek to prevent his thumb from coming off the "dead man switch" thereby preventing an explosion.
At the same time Booster fights off the terrorists on the outside who were ordered to fight the military when they were attacked. Booster rescues two children Magog missed.
Booster is ready to give a piece on his mind to Magog for being so brutal and not caring for the lives of the kids, but Rip stops him explaining that Magog would do much good in the following years. Disgusted Booster lets him go, but with the intention of stopping him when Magog will become the mirror of the future, a evil Superman.
