The Rhythmic Fist (律動拳, Ritsudō ken) is a form of taijutsu developed by Ji, the purpose of which is to afflict external damage while avoiding damage with flowing and unpredictable dance-like movements. The style itself is a strange blend of "hard" and "soft" martial arts, at times intercepting an opponent's attack with the user's own and at others directing the opponent's force in a different direction in order to create openings.

  • The Rhythmic Fist (律動拳, Ritsudō ken) is a form of taijutsu developed by Ji, the purpose of which is to afflict external damage while avoiding damage with flowing and unpredictable dance-like movements. The style itself is a strange blend of "hard" and "soft" martial arts, at times intercepting an opponent's attack with the user's own and at others directing the opponent's force in a different direction in order to create openings. The movements themselves often have a hypnotizing effect on the opponent as the user appears to be dancing over the battle field, constantly in motion in order to both stay on their toes and maintain an air of unpredictability. Many of the techniques involves feats of acrobatics and due to this users must be extremely flexible yet physically strong enough to perform the feats themselves. Other techniques involve amazingly fluid motions such as backrolls and spinning kicks delivered with outstanding strength.
