Carcharovendox were the largest species of Vendox, a class of creatures native to the Riverlands region of the planet Vitea. They were carnivorous reptomammals, characterized by their black, scaly bodies and long limbs, lack of a tail, and bizarre, bony skulls. Like all Vendox, Carcharovendox had no teeth. Instead, the beast used horny plates of bone on its skull to bite into its victims. Carcharovendox had hands on the end of each limb, each one with one incredibly enlarged claw that the Carcharovendox used to walk on and spear prey from a safe distance.
