Mono Yia Mas was the song representing Cyprus at the 1996 Contest. It was performed by Constantinos Christoforou on his first of three entries for the country. In the audio-only pre-qualifier round, it was performed fifth, following Croatia and preceding Denmark. Placing 15th with 42 points, it qualified for the live contest where it was again performed fifth (following Portugal and preceding Malta). At the close of voting, the song placed 9th with 72 points.
