The Graveyard Road was one of the roads that entered Freetown. As its name implies, it was next to a graveyard. During the Atlantean theatre of a mid 18th century global conflict, it was an important supply line for French forces under Louis-Joseph de Montcalm-Gozon attacking Freetown. Victor Radcliff's men ambushed that line from the graveyard, effectively cutting off Montcalm-Gozon.
