The battle moved to the surface of the planet, where for two more hours the two sides fought intense close quarter combat. Emperor Samuel Harmon and Darth Carnage were both killed by Xan Skywalker and his brother Anakin in a massive duel in the control room of the Ossus Military Academy. After the death of their leaders, the ground forces surrendered.
