The Ikradon Megacorporation was established in May 3059 by a group of foreign investors. These Investors were led by Simon Patrick, who argued in his book The Sale of the Century, that if Political and economic functions of a corporation were combined, not only could a ‘political party’ privatise the economic assets and simultaneously by them up in the process. Patrick argued that the power of the ‘Megacorporation’ could simultaneously run its organisation profitably and use its political power to establish a secure and favourable business environment. Patrick desired to establish a State which would always choose corporate interests over the interests of other sections of society, by controlling the state itself. Patrick named this type of regime a ‘Corporate Republic’ and established the party’s ideological objectives in ‘Megacorporatism’.
