| - Cynthia Cluxton is a Petty Officer assigned to the Norfolk Naval Base and who appears to have some history with Special Agent Timothy McGee. In addition to that, Cluxton was also a murderer responsible for the death of her former girlfriend, Janice Santos. Not much is known about Cluxton's life but it's revealed that her father, Dawes who was an NCIS Special Agent had investigated a case similar to Santos's nearly ten years previously but according to Donald Mallard, Dawes had passed on seven years ago, hinting that the Agent had died some time in or around 1997. For a time, McGee's colleagues, Forensic Scientist Abigail Sciuto and Anthony DiNozzo believed that McGee and Cluxton had something of a romantic past but they were both left shocked when McGee dropped hints that Cluxton was in fact a lesbian with no romantic or sexual interest of any kind in McGee. After being exposed as the killer due to the fact that a surveillance video had recorded her removing some semen from an evidence locker, Cluxton was brought into NCIS for questioning. During the interrogation, Gibbs told her that Santos was her lover and that the two had met at Flip Side, a lesbian bar. Cluxton acted all calm and emotionless, claiming that she was innocent but Gibbs had one final surprise for her: Harlan Wilson, the man she'd framed for the second murder had died nearly five or six weeks ago. Confronted with the evidence, Cluxton finally snapped, proving that she was well and truly guilty of the crime despite insisting otherwise. As such, she was arrested and taken into NCIS custody before she was presumably jailed while Cluxton was also quite possibly court-martialed and dishonorably discharged.
