abstract
  • Hathor used a version of the device paired with a holographic projector, which displayed the subject's memories as a two-dimensional image. When reading Sam's mind, Martouf chose not to use the holographic protector so as to respect her privacy. (SG1: "Out of Mind") Jacob Carter used one to probe the mind of a captured Kull warrior to help the SGC find their planet of origin. The device simply projected the Kull warrior's memory of the sky above his planet. This was then used placed with Tok'ra star mapping technology, which deduced the actual location of the planet, based on the constellations. (SG1: "Evolution, Part 1")
