- The Mad Dog is an enemy encounter in Suikoden V. It is found in the Withered Forest during the Prince's trip to Lordlake. This enemy is weak to magic, but can be defeated easily with simple physical attacks.
- Mad Dog was a heavyweight robot which fought exclusively in the New Blood Championship of Extreme Series 2 of Robot Wars. It lost in its first and only battle to Chopper and ICU.

- Mad Dog is a member of the Arlen Gun Club and appeared in "Soldier of Misfortune". He is voiced by Gary Busey. Mad Dog has a violent personality and was once imprisoned for murdering a man. He had disdain towards Gun Club President Dale Gribble. During elections, Dale accidentally discharges his gun during his story, and he loses the respect of his fellow members. Mad Dog uses this to his advantage and runs a successful campaign for President himself. He then has an inauguration party in his cabin where he catches and tortures Hank, Bill and Boomhauer trespassing in an attempt to rescue Dale (in actuality, he was planning to leave town in fear for his life after he mistakens him for Mr. Big, who was actually Hank).
- Mad Dog served as a liaison between Two-Face and Gil Mason. He was part of the fake murder attempt on Mason, but Batgirl interfered. The two came to a fight, in which Batgirl managed to pull off Mad Dog's ski mask. He got away when he kicked her into a dumpster. Barbara looked up his face in police records, and began suspecting Mason of foul play when she say Mad Dog in his house the next day. He later reported the events of the previous night to Two-Face, unaware that Matches Malone was listening in on their conversation. When Malone followed Mad Dog to Two-Face's lair, he was knocked out.
