Harvali is a female Okotan and archaeologist from the Region of Jungle, known for her interest in the City of the Mask Makers. A skilled builder, Harvali constructed her own bridge to reach the city, and showed Vizuna a set of ancient carvings near the city. She later became trapped in the city's underbelly while exploring and running afoul of Skull Spiders, but managed to survive for nearly a year on her own. She was later rescued when the Protectors arrived in the city in search of the Toa, and helped them make their way into the city itself.

A skilled builder, Harvali constructed her own bridge to reach the city, and showed Vizuna a set of ancient carvings near the city. She later became trapped in the city's underbelly while exploring and running afoul of Skull Spiders, but managed to survive for nearly a year on her own. She was later rescued when the Protectors arrived in the city in search of the Toa, and helped them make their way into the city itself. After the final defeat of the Lord of Skull Spiders, Harvali and her companions entered the city and were attacked by Skull Warriors, but managed to escape them. They later discovered the empty tomb of Ekimu, and then traveled to the Mask Makers' forge, where they came across the fallen Skull Basher and Skull Grinder before meeting Ekimu himself. Harvali was so overcome by meeting the legendary Toa and the Mask Maker that she fainted, but revived in time to watch a fireworks display orchestrated by Ekimu. She then directed the Toa and Protectors in constructing a new bridge to the city for the arrival of other Okotans.
