Splitting is a weaker condition than dividing, so not splitting is a stronger condition than not dividing. If is a sufficiently saturated model containing , (for example, the monster model), then doesn't split over if and only if is -invariant.
- Splitting is a special action used by some creatures to multiply, usually in response to being attacked. While this can prove overwhelming, it's worth noting that most split monsters will suffer from any status effect held by the original at the time of splitting. Because of this, they're probably best dealt with by using whatever special damage options are available, such as causing bleeding with a shuriken, then mopping up the hoards of duplicates with some AoE attacks, such as bolt spells, the Fire Breath, Bakuretuken and Swarm special actions, or grenades.

If you have a splitter as a pet, any clones it produces will be neutral to you and the original until you leave the map, when they turn hostile. If you find a splitter that you can defeat with little effort, it can prove rewarding to sandbag one, as the extras can be attacked to train various skills. (A pregnant monster's splitting may cause birth rates to skyrocket, please confirm/deny, getting a mass monster pregnant could prove to be dangerous and potentially useful.)
