| - The Legion has been promised full autonomy to act as they wish in regards to organisation and distribution of forces, however, the Magistratum have reserved the right to call upon the LEGIO in full or in part any time they wish. To provide a friendly environment for RPers both old and new. We are NOT town/city guards, we will not pretend to have the authority to make arrests. We are a Blood Elf only guild. We do NOT take orders from the Blood Knights. Guild has been registered and is now actively recruiting. We are currently recruiting all professions and classes. Where we can, recruits will be provided with a uniform which is to be worn when recruits are On Duty (i.e. Events organised by the guild or if you're trying to impress someone). Falconwing Square, Eversong Woods - The Legion Headquarters, a decent area for military RP as it has a large area for drill and several members of Silvermoons military hanging around. The kind of RP events the guild will take part in will include:- - Weapons Drill - Several members will gather together and will hold duels to hone their combat abilities for PVP in the eventuality that the Legion has to defend Silvermoon from the Alliance. Foot Drill - Members will gather and attempts will be made to get them moving as a unit and responding to commands so that when we finally get around to parades we will have minimal problems. Parades - A large event involving a march through the streets of a city in an effort to show the might of the Legion Disciplinary Actions - When a member commits a crime against the Legion or the Horde and are caught they will be put through a public punishment. Undertaking missions set by Horde Leaders - This is for when the Legion decides to make plot outside of being a military group. Recruitment Parties - Every so often members will set up shop in an inn for an evening and try to convince people to join through promises of fortune and glory. Pay Parades - Payday, members of the Legion gather outside the bank in the Bazaar and are paid their monthly fees according to their rank. Initiate - The lowest among the Legion. Initiates have no rights and are merely there to provide bodies to throw against the Legions enemies. They have no uniform and at RP events must wear Whites only. Pay Grade - 0 Gold Per Month Legionairre - The face of the Legion. Legionairries can be considers the first true rank amongst the Legion and it is they who bear the true work of the Legion. Outside of combat Legionairres are expected to be able to bring some useful skills to the Legion. Though they are considered to be of higher rank than Initiates a Legionairre cannot give orders to an Initiate. The Legionairres uniform is always the armour appropriate to their class which is available from the vendor on Sunstrider Island. Pay Grade - 1 Gold Per Month. Decanus - The first step on the chain of command. A Decanus leads a Decimal of ten Legionairres, he passes on the orders which he recieves from his Centurion and is responsible for the wellbeing of his men. He is expected to pass the concerns of his men up to his Centurion or to deal with them if he is able. It is the responsibility of the Decanus to outfit and pay the men is his Decimal. A Decanus may wear any gear that is Green or lower. Pay Grade - 10 Gold Per Month Centurion - The dizzying height that most Legionairres will ever reach. The Centurion commands a Century of one hundred Legionairres and ten Decanus. It is his responsibility to interpret orders from the Equestrians and Legate and pass them down to the Decanus. It is the Centurions responsibility to lead his men by example when in combat or off the field of battle. Poor conduct may mean a demotion. While not mandatory a Centurion is expected to make a donation of 1% of his total funds to the Legion upon gaining his rank. A Centurion may wear any gear that is Blue or lower. Pay Grade - 100 Gold Per Month Equestrian - When a Legionairre of any rank performs an exceptional service to the Legion and proves their loyalty they are elevated to the rank of Equestrian and indoctrinated into the inner secrets of the Legion. It is the responsibility of the Equestrians to provide a bodyguard for the Legate and to insure that the Legion is not wanting for anything. While not mandatory an Equestrian is expected to donate a minimum of 5% of their total funds per month. An Equestrian may wear any gear that he wishes and may be mounted during Guild Events. Pay Grade - None, the Equestrians responsibilty is to keep the Legion funded. Legate - The leader of the Legion a Legate decides what the Legion does and where the Legion goes. The Legate can only ever be promoted from the ranks of the Equestrian and his word is law. The Legate decides when it is time for an Initiate to become a Legionairre and assigns the new Legionairre to his Decimal. The Legate may wear whatever gear he wishes and may be mounted during Guild Events. Pay Grade - None, the Legate is expected to donate 50% of his funds per day to the Legion.
