  • "Drinks" is the sixth episode of the D Series of QI and the 42nd episode overall. It was first broadcast on BBC Four on 27 October 2006, and was broadcast on BBC Two on 3 November 2006. There were no new panellists. The episode marked the second win for Alan Davies, following "Aviation", and only the seventh time he had ever got a positive score. The episode was preceded by "Death" and followed by "Differences". The set was drinks-themed: behind Fry was a drinks rack and a dartboard, and each panellist had a pint of lager, other than Davies, who was given a martini.
  • Drinks are food items that are related to some sort of liquid that can come from a cup, tankard, beer glass, cocktail glass, or other container. Often the consumption of drinks will result in more than just healing Life Points, but will change your skill stats as well, either giving a bonus or a penalty. Although some drinks can heal life points, food is easier to obtain and heals more life points than drinks.

  • In Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters, the only available drink is the traditional beer that can be purchased in any tavern, but in Fable II and Fable III, they produce more drinks for your hero to drink. The stars next to the name show how popular it is among the citizens of Albion. The different types of drink in Fable II are water, wine, beer, spirits and juice. These can be purchased at taverns, beverage stalls and from travelling traders. In Fable III, fruit juices, beer, spirits, and wine are all available in the various taverns of Albion. Like in Fable II, drinks in Fable III can be purchased in taverns and beverage stalls, though when the Hero rises to become Monarch, one can outlaw the sale and consumption of alcohol, meaning only fruit juice will be available.
