Lack of comments may not mean there's no interest. How to? : Sometimes comments are sent directly to authors by email; or left on the original blog, not on our site. Lack of editorializing personality doesn't especially invite commentary. Language: Similarly, not encouraging non-English language posting reduces interest from much of the blogosphere. This is clearly the easy way to drive comments; from a blog project to test/increase commentary.

Last paragraph: Ways to write posts: leaving a question for the read that the post doesn't answer encourages communication. Last paragraph style may be crucial here. This is clearly the easy way to drive comments; from a blog project to test/increase commentary. Smaller blogospheres: talking about small regions has less capacity to generate commentary. Outreach: Other outreach/dev efforts will help start the ball rolling: we might consider commenting on one another's posts. Is it apporpriate to comment as individual bloggers, with our own url; or should we use our feed url? More outreach, explaining the gv concept, for bloggers and those unfamiliar with blogs. Audio commenting! Jose's important point. Pass-through: see also translation and languages for a discussion of passing comments through to source blogs.
