Vakoran (File:Vakoran (Vaka script).png) are are special class of Ixanian warrior nobles that have ruled the Honorable Union of Ixania for the last two thousand years. In the past, they were an elite arm of the Ixanian military forces, and served as the shock-and-awe units that spearheaded Ixanian military campaigns. Following the unification of Ixania in 624, they evolved to become the ruling nobility of Ixania, while still serving in the military as leaders and elite combat units. While they have never constituted more than 8% of the Ixanian population throughout its history, the vakoran came to form a previleged class within Ixanian society, one reachable by any warrior determined enough to lead.
