Kamin was a male native of the planet Kataan circa the 14th century. He was an "ironweaver", and an amateur musician who played the flute. Before his world's sun went nova, his memories were uploaded into a interstellar probe and sent into space, along with his flute, in hopes that some memory of their people would live on.

- War-Master Kamin was a high-ranking officer in the Scorvian military. He held the progressive point of view that the Scorvians should normalize relations with their longtime enemies the Luxans. His ideas were unable to take hold until the War for the Uncharted Territories, when the deaths of most of the Luxans' highest-ranking officers left General Ka Jothee in charge, the first Luxan leader to be openly receptive to the idea. Kamin's forces allied with Jothee's and their combined fleet were able to deal some blows to the Kkore forces, at one point managing to salvage a working Kkore cannon.

| - Kamin was one of the Kindred working for Bloodmoon. He was the muscle of the group, with a primitive mindset.
Kamin and Fennex attacked Marc Slayton at Coney Island, a fight that ended when Bloodmoon had Marc's daughter Jodi caught by Slider and forced Marc to surrender.
Bloodmoon sought the Gen-Factor in Marc's blood, but his blood was useless, so Slide got a sample of Gen-Active blood from Jodi. As Marc wasn't useful anymore, Bloodmoon sent Kamin to kill him, but Marc had freed himself. A fight ensued until Marc made Kamin trip on a chain and fall head-first on a high voltage fuse box that electrocuted him to death. His death was confirmed when Dingo didn't find his pulse.

The Luxan/Scorvian fleet later journeyed to the Falaman System, arriving in time to and turn the tide of the First Battle of the Falaman System in favor of the allied forces of the Uncharted Territories. Kamin later met on Moya with the leaders of the other militaries to strategize their next step against the Kkore. Kamin and his fleet fought in the deciding Second Battle of the Falaman System, fighting in the battle with at least some of the Scorvians lending their individual faiths to the greater Delvian Dej-Wah.
- Kamin was a male native of the planet Kataan circa the 14th century. He was an "ironweaver", and an amateur musician who played the flute. Before his world's sun went nova, his memories were uploaded into a interstellar probe and sent into space, along with his flute, in hopes that some memory of their people would live on. In 2368, the USS Enterprise-D encountered this probe, which initiated a memory transfer with Captain Jean-Luc Picard. In the span of 30 minutes, Picard experienced 42 years of Kamin's life, including his marriage to Eline and the birth of their children. Following this incident, Picard retained Kamin's ability to play his flute, which had been retrieved from the probe. (TNG episode: "The Inner Light") Picard's experience as Kamin -- in addition to his assimilation into the Borg Collective as Locutus, and his mind meld with Sarek -- created a mental state similar to Multiple Personality Disorder. This state enabled Picard, in 2370, to resist the Chova, a telepathic weapon being used against the Enterprise crew by a faction of the Damiani. (TNG comic: "Perchance to Dream") Picard struggled with Kamin's memories of fatherhood in 2380, when his wife, Beverly Crusher, suggested having children of their own. Having experienced the loss of a child through Kamin's memories, Picard was hesitant to repeat the experience. He eventually overcame these issues and did conceive a son with Beverly. (TNG novel: Greater Than the Sum)
