Oppa Tantel was an Imperial Moff during the first few years of the Rebellion. A few months after the Empire was formed, Tantel was approached by an Ubese Sith named Sindri. Sindri offered to bribe Palpatine into making Tantel a Moff, through his agents. In exchange, Tantel would be required to find whatever information Sindri required that was in his power to find. He agreed.

abstract	Oppa Tantel was an Imperial Moff during the first few years of the Rebellion. A few months after the Empire was formed, Tantel was approached by an Ubese Sith named Sindri. Sindri offered to bribe Palpatine into making Tantel a Moff, through his agents. In exchange, Tantel would be required to find whatever information Sindri required that was in his power to find. He agreed. After he was made Moff, Sindri demanded access to the Death Star's central computer. Under the facade of developing it for counterespionage purposes, Tantel had a disruptor signal transmitter made that could override the computer to be usable by no one except the transmitter's owner. Shortly after Sindri's death, Tantel was discovered and executed for espionage against the Empire.
