Ingeborg (Inge) Stoll-Laforge ( Stolberg - Breinig , February 11 1930 - Brno , August 24 1958 ) was a West German athlete engine . Stoll came from a family of motorcycle enthusiasts, her father Kurt had a sidecar driver and his wife as a passenger only successes. Inge Stoll began as a seventeen year old in the sidecar with her father, but later earned her sport partnerJacques Drion more successes. In 1952 and 1954 the duo Drion / Stoll became champion of France, and in the seasons 1952 to 1957 she took part in the world championships with their Norton . Although she never became World Champions, they won each of those seasons a deserving place in the top 11, with a best result of third in 1954.

In 1952 and 1954 the duo Drion / Stoll became champion of France, and in the seasons 1952 to 1957 she took part in the world championships with their Norton . Although she never became World Champions, they won each of those seasons a deserving place in the top 11, with a best result of third in 1954. In 1954, Stoll was the first woman who started in the Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man , and it earned a fifth place. Drion with In Helsinki , the duo won in 1958 the Grand Prix of Finland (which did not count for the World). In the same year she also won the races at the Circuit de Pernes-les-Fontaines and Circuit d'Obernai (both in France ). Stoll joined in May 1958 in marriage with Manfred Grunwald , who as a sidecar passenger with a year earlier , Fritz Hillebrand world had become. She announced that after the current season would stop racing, but three months later, during the Grand Prix of Czechoslovakia lost Drion and Stoll in the final round of the power of their motorcycle which they hit a fence and flew several times over. Stoll died on the spot and Drion was taken to hospital where he died later that day.
