  • The STG-45 ("Sturmgewehr 1945" or "Storm Rifle 1945") was an experimental assault rifle designed and developed by Mauser in the last year of World War 2. With the release of the STG-44 and it's revolutionary design and effectiveness on the modern battlefield, the Nazis had plans on making a cheaper and less time consuming weapon to produce. The STG-45 was the result, however it came too late to save Germany from defeat and over a maximum of 30 were ever made. This makes it the rarest and most sought-after rifles in existence, aside from the MKb-42.
