  • Jozef Szekeres is an animator, director, comic book and storyboard artist, sculptor and musician and is a major figure in Australian comics. He is the artist behind Black Mermaid Productions. Jozef did the art for an early (now sadly non-canon) 6 issue series of Elfquest: WaveDancers, and a 3 issue series of Dart for Image Comics. He has contributed to many Australian anthology comics before and since, including Mickey Moose Presents Under Water Love.

  • Jozef Szekeres is an animator, director, comic book and storyboard artist, sculptor and musician and is a major figure in Australian comics. He is the artist behind Black Mermaid Productions. Jozef did the art for an early (now sadly non-canon) 6 issue series of Elfquest: WaveDancers, and a 3 issue series of Dart for Image Comics. He has contributed to many Australian anthology comics before and since, including Mickey Moose Presents Under Water Love. As of 2012, Jozef is currently working on a new comic called Elf~Fin: Hyfus & Tilaweed which uses characters originally created for WaveDancers in 1993-94. With Julie Ditrich, he has instigated and now heads the Australian Society of Authors Comics/Graphic Novels Portfolio.
