He was the political leader of the Mokai; it appears he was an elected and not dictatorial leader, as the Mokai were fighting against the Diviner, a dictator himself, and would not have elected a dictator as their leader as well. He was also the Mokai's main military general, the leader of all the Mokai's troops. His son was Koba-Kai.
