  • A Handler in e-wrestling is a term referring to the out of character, real-life representative, behind the creation and control of the role and character of an e-wrestler, manager, valet, announcer, commentator, general manager or owner while involved with an e-federation. They embark their character on a wrestling journey by roleplaying and negotiating storylines and angles with their opponents as well as those in charge. However, the progression rate and success of an e-wrestler heavily weighs on the skill and participation of the handler.

  • Handlers are employees of a Dollhouse facility who are responsible for escorting an Active to and from an engagement while monitoring them during their time with clients for their safety. For the most part, Handlers do not listen in to the actual engagement, unless it may involve criminal activity or threats to their safety. Handlers are generally armed with handguns and are found within the black van used for transportation. During certain types of engagements, the Handlers may be involved in a fashion, often acting as a contact to the Active to ensure successful completion. In extreme cases, Handlers are expected to dispose of an Active to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. They, as direct employees of a Dollhouse, are hired (and fired) at the whim of the House Head.

For the futars who found themselves encaptured and imprisoned on the no-ship kept on Chapterhouse, they constantly clamored in their need to find "their Handlers". Only Handlers could give a Futar a "Kill Order". Handlers were taller than most humans, had a keen sense of smell; and had darkened pigmentation around the eyes, akin to raccoons.

For instance, she created mass-displacement anchors that reduce the apparent mass of an object by as much as 90%, allowing her to move objects much heavier than her unassisted TK would manage.

  • Handler (no real name known) is a Gadgeteer and low level TK who's a member of Baker's Dozen. She uses her creations to fly and for a lot of other things. For instance, she created mass-displacement anchors that reduce the apparent mass of an object by as much as 90%, allowing her to move objects much heavier than her unassisted TK would manage. Handler designs her gadgets deliberately to require a TK with fine control to operate them, and in many cases to power them. For instance, the control 'surface' of some of the units is a small dot of conductive fluid inside of a circuit 'globe'. This is done partly to avoid having her gadgets turned against her during a battle, and partly to protect her patents. Other gadgeteers and scientists have attempted to disassemble and reverse-engineer her gadgets and found themselves unable to figure out how they work, resulting in a mistaken assumption that they are Devises. Handler does not mind this misconception; even her team leader Baker thinks she's a devisor. Generator, who has the required powers to operate Handler's gadgets, found schematics for an old, less efficient version of the mass-displacement anchors in the Whateley Academy database and incorporated it into her own arsenal. The version that Generator uses displaces only about 50% of an object's mass and drains its battery in about ten minutes.
