The Federal University of Ivalice at Koiwai (often referred to as Federal University, FedU, GovU, or negatively, FedUp) is a public research university located in the Civic Center district of the city of Koiwai. Founded in 1875, the Federal University is the flagship institution of the Federal University System of Ivalice. With a total enrollment of 24,449 students, FedU is the largest university in the Ivalician Federal District and the largest in the Koiwai-Randgriz Metropolitan Area.
